    Hi, could you tel me the casette lift make/model ? it's very clever how it's made. I would need one as I became disabled after an accident.

    The ghost let himself out 🤣 thank you so much I really appreciate the video I wish I had a friend that had a van, and drove himself and would be able to come get me whenever I got stuck... and I really would have liked to see how you guys transferred in and out of the chair I mean I've been doing it for a long time but you guys seem to have it pretty together I'm sure I could learn a few things and I really want one of those Segway things I've never seen that so I'm going to watch the other video... And for the next video could you explain the numbers and the different kind of motors and stuff and thank you again... Lisa

    The wheels are small, they cause problems, they get stuck in small potholes and they do not move on grass in the garden. If they are a little big, the wheels are a problem.
    It would be great..

    OMG I literally just opened up RUclips I was trying to find a wheelchair like the one I was just now literally getting ready to purchase for a little over a grand, that's a lot of money to me, and I sent an email to the person about the armrest, I needed to know if the armrest lifts all the way up so that I can transfer into wheelchair without my butt hitting anyting and I never got a response, I did get a response from another chair being sold by the same people same question, they said that the chair does not move when the power is off and it's very sturdy, so I'm looking forward to this video thank you guys so so much hey... WRONG my Hoveround will go over rugs, curves,through grass . It does slide on wet grass. I scrape & painted my 2 & half car garage. No problem. It did slide if I tryed to do it after power washing & not waiting for it to dry. If I got up to building where water stood a little & it was muddy from not wait for it to dry some it would slide & few times got hung up. I blew my leaves,weed eated, garden, did flowers, washed windows,
    I on good days went to town in it.It would go up curves,over broke sidewalk, or streets, curves 3-5in have to go at a angle once in awhile if the stret below is not real even the foot piece or bottom of chair might rub or get hung up..
    It will go about 15 miles when totally charged. Does 5 miles a hr. Has 2 batteries.
    The only thing their seats are not as good now . They use to have thicker seating,much more comfortable & I seat in it every day for 5 yrs & didnt even shown where set but the new thinner aeat started showing in 3 or 4 wks. They also went to a high back which for me who is short was very uncomfortable, & a friend who tall the short back us uncomfortable but they only have the high back .Didn't keep both. But the seats are as big & padded as these u show probably more. The arms do lift so u can slide in ,also can get seats that swivel around for easier getting in or closeer to table,exercise stuff etc. Also can get with lift so can raise seat to reach things better.
    It goes over rugs no problem unless they are the littler v threw rugs ,they will roll up etc but if have tact down or tape so holds down can go over them too.
    Snow ,they slide but if i put shovel in front of chair & push the snow to side. I CAN CLEAN WALKS & do a little in snow ( they need a blade to put in front..lol) I've had my chair almost 10 yrs. which is over the 5 yrs they recommend. But my chair the still going strong. The controller plastic push buttons are wearing down since they have had no service for 5 yrs since coverage for that all runs out after 5 yrs.
    My neighbor had her 1st one almost 15 yrs & still running & her 2 nd for almost yrs all stil running & good shape. But they are cheaper made now, parts come from over seas put together in USA, use to be made here. Much better when was made herr, now ever thing is more cheap made but still better than what u are showing yes they don't fold, harder to take some where but I don't have to worry about the rugs, curves, & so much more u showed. The batteries that come on it are not as good as was,they won't go as far & have to charge more often .I just get the better batteries like they use to give at walmart or Amazon. They will tell u u can do that. Alsi they don't do the emergency services like use to have if chair breaks down Won't come 24/7 if break down & won't bring a chair to use TILL they can fix it.
    They also don't make sure it works for u or u can run it like use to. They use to it's just a chair higher or lower or if it needs to tell a little bit one way or the other so you just sit better but now that you're told thay cant do that.
    They have done little to update them ,like being able to use a remote or ur cell phones to run them & many new ones u can be lifted up at hight to talk, even higher to reach stuff or stand, & can put ur seat back & many can stand on foot rest not this.or forward aeats or put back & all that stuff . & many new ones can get wet ,go through water, sand dirt etc but Hoveround has not updated anything but to add colors u can get & made seat smaller, cheaper, less comfortable, cut speed down it will go ,which is need if outside home & other than than it will go & u can count on it not to get caught up on the flooring like a little rug b4 we get out the door hope that helps anybody that's looking at chairs.

Same problem with rigid frame and hard tires…..and the foot rest had to be reversed…..check out videos on that. Thanks for all you do, I learn something new every video! MIKE

    Hello, you are really a RUclips star))) I hope you will not lose modesty from my comment))) I live in a country where the majority is always waiting for instructions from the government and when a brain tumor appears in the government, the country slowly dies and, perhaps, stupidly kills the whole world .)))
    But you are a country with many years of democracy. How did you let everyone still drive brushed motors? This despite the fact that in your country they came up with a Tesla car?
    And then I see that a chair with brushed motors was brought to you from China? This is even in China the last century.)))) Or is it some kind of international conspiracy to hide the abundance of brushless motors around the world for a small price. This should be investigated))) Try to find out with a friend how American collector motors got to China?)
    I learned a lot about the daily life of people in wheelchairs. And without this information, it is impossible for them to implement transport ideas. I'll finish watching the content on your channel for another two years.)
    In general, I would like to note that in order to be attractive, it is enough to be yourself. I hope the manufacturers of wheelchairs will not buy you quickly.)) Happy New Year, all the best to you.)))

    They really need to make one that folds up into its own suitcase, is auto unfold..and some other tricks and treats. I have been thinking abou these for awhile. Good for people that can manage it but I think its too uruley, cumbersome, and heavy for me to lug around. I too am very curious of how many 82650's they stuffed in there. I honestly think there is a market for a more compact version that serves as a rescue chair mounted on the back of an exisiting chair.

    Medicare pays for the chairs, but only pay for the best quality ones. Also I bought a set of ramps for cheap in portland 15 years ago from a place that sold used chairs and so forth but no junk, but cant remember their name but you might look around and find ther, they were accross the river. For people that have a hard time getting over the bumps on driveways and so forth, I go over them backwards so i dont crash and bang or get stuck. Also where you find the little curb a bit to high call the city and they will smoth them down for ya. Happy trails people !!

    • @9363234
      @9363234 2 года назад

      Allan, yes, Medicare pays for so-so chairs, but they are not practical. I cannot afford a transport van. So, when I need to go somewhere I cannot put that good quality beast into my trunk & go. My alternative is spend what I don't have into purchasing a folder type chair. I see Medicare will not pay for another type of chair, WHAT A MONOPOLY!

    Those are the kind of wheelchairs looking into. The folding ones. How do you like them? I don’t want a Hugh heavy one. Something what is easy getting in and out of a vehicle. I don’t go many places most to Doctor appointments and I don’t weigh much at all. I do want one that can hold about 300 pounds because my husband would set in it and he’s over 200 pounds. But I’m less then 100

    The big question for me is your sitting on a small cushion on 2 bars going from a air filled or gel filled cushion how comfortable is it you went 2.5 miles on bumps I can see if you use it to go to the store or some were in doors like airports to help get from point a to b but using it for every day chair not so much like me my chair is hard to transport I don’t have a van yet so something like that at the store or out to dinner would work but around my house my q6 edge 2.0 I prefer I like it for the grocery store too ilevel and pushing a shopping cart is pretty easy but yes it is not bad for connivance but they would have to come way down on price I was looking at some of them just for getting out but price vs need could not do it

    • @TotallyNormal-
      @TotallyNormal-  5 лет назад +1

      he was saying the seat isn't very comfortable with those bars - he put a different cushion on it - helped a little bit.. BUT kind-of a strange design.. NO suspension at all - and all the tires are HARD plastic - a few little mods and it could be much better.. but theres so many of these things out there! hard to pick one!

      its possible on some vehicles to retrofit a high power steering pump.. but usually the old full size dodge vans have REALLY good power steering.. but i know when they're doing driving evaluations, if people have troubles turning the wheel, they opt for more expensive drive-by-wire systems that are semi-automated..

The Lithium pack has 28x 18650 Samsung batteries, mine does have brush-less motors, it does about 11 miles on a full battery, it weighs 23kg and supports 294 pounds user weight and cost me £1260.00 in the UK.

    hey bud, since you know better than I do, do you know if Magic Mobility V6 have to be 73Amp/hr batteries? Or, just a sales scam to buy their batteries?

      on the frontier - the bigger the batteries the better! also smaller ones may not fit as well, and ya dont want them banging around inside the chair..

      @@TotallyNormal- Thanks Dan, I talk to so call expert on Magic Mobility v6, she said all V6 is modified to have 73amps/hr batteries only, and she can't justify. so, I guessing it's the scam in their part. I was thinking about group 24 85Amp/hr., what you think?
