    I love this shoe…I don’t know why the weight of the shoe is an issue to some people who review the Bondi 8, it feel great to me. At first when I put them on it was a little stiff to me, but as I wore them and “broke” them in, now they feel great. I mainly use them for my ushering job. I used to use Under Armor, Sketchers, Adidas and ASICS. The only shoe that can be compared to the Hoka Bondi 8 is Sketchers Arch Fit! I have Plantar Fasciitis and with the before mention shoes, not including the Sketchers Arch Fit, I would have to wear heel cups for my condition and even with the heel cups for the other shoes, I would still kind of feel pain the next morning, but not with the Bondi 8. I also own the Clifton 8, love those shoes too.

      That's fair enough! I guess the shoes are perfect for the very specific circumstances you have. You enjoy them 🙌

    I have two pairs on the bondi 8 and also have a wide foot. The 2E worked out great for me and my running pair works greats for me. So I just think some other reviewers were just being a little too picky.

      Two pairs, nice! And being too picky is the point of reviewing things. 😅 We have to big up issues that people might experience, as well as highlighting the positive things in the products, so people would notice. Imagine if all reviews were like, 'yes, this is fine' or 'well, this is okay, too'. Thanks for the comment and have a good one. 🤙

      @@pacemaxpro Agreed.I actually think to many reviews are not critical enough (maybe because they get free shoes ect?) I have read reviews for the Bondi 8 where they say its a great shoe and then mention almost as an afterthought that they ended up with big blisters after just 1 short run!

    "If you want people to notice what you are wearing on your foot, the Bondi is your option." 😅😅Wearing them outside of running, they basically look like you have boat for shoes. Sarcasm aside, I have worn the Bondi 6 for the past 2 years and assuming that is still the experience, however tweaked in the 7 and further in the 8, what really made that shoe great at the time was the synthesis of the cushioning and the rocker. Your feet won't feel beat up along with your legs. That being said , you try to put down a little to run faster it feels like you are running in boxes. Every stride needs to be easy and relaxed to let the shoe work with you, otherwise it feels like you are fighting the shoe. In 2022, looking forward to either the Saucony Triumph 20 or the Glide Ride 3 for a more lively experience but still with the cushioning.

    Like my Bondi 7's. Love my Mach 5's. Wanted to like the Bondi 8.
    But..... the reduced volume of the upper... could barely get them on.
    I appreciate what Hoka was trying
    to do.. swing and a miss.

      They are tight, aren't they? I much prefer the Mach 5 's upper

    I found Bondi 8 is much improved Vs Bondi 5. I was using Bondi 5 upto 400 km, and the Bondi 8 improvement is to me on the weight, more stability, not too marshmallow feel anymore which is good for our bounce

    I have not found these to be as soft as everyone is claiming. I’m also finding that the shoe is a better walking shoe than a running shoe. Overall, this is a disappointment. Check out the Nike Invincible Run 3. That will give you an idea of max cushioning!

    Why have they gone back to a tighter fit thought they learned their lesson on this with earlier versions.Love the Bondi 7 but have to buy 4e version and my feet are not really wide.Bought 2 more pairs of bondi 7 on sale.Durability is much better on the Bondi than Clifton I own both.

      I have no idea what's the idea behind the super-tight fit. and thanks for the info on durability! 👍

    How do these compare to the Clifton 8?

    • @pacemaxpro
      @pacemaxpro  2 года назад +3

      I haven't had the chance (and time) to try the Clifton 8s, but word on the street is that the Bondi 8 is more durable and maybe even softer 🙏
