Marianne Williamson is a bestselling author, political activist, and spiritual thought leader.
For over three decades, she has been a leader in spiritual and religiously progressive circles. She is the author of 15 books, four of which have been #1 New York Times bestsellers.
Williamson founded Project Angel Food, a non-profit organization that has delivered more than 16 million meals to ill and dying homebound patients since 1989. The group was created to help people suffering from the ravages of HIV/AIDS.
She has also worked throughout her career on poverty, anti-hunger and racial reconciliation issues. In 2004, she co-founded The Peace Alliance and supports the creation of a U.S. Department of Peace. Williamson ran for the Democratic nomination for president in 2020.

I briefly met Marianne at a spiritual conference in Texas. That encounter has remained one of my fondest memories in that time of my life. I admire her courage for taking on the political machine which cannot be an easy task. She has the intelligence and spiritual maturity to create real transformative change in our country and our world..❤
I admit I’ve always tried to avoid politics and government because I didn’t believe in it. I really like how she pointed out that that’s part of the problem.

True, on the economic tyranny. Homelessness, and sky rocket rents, the average worker can't afford rent, mass evictions, I would like to see a President who can stop the abusive housing managements landlords, real estate brokers. The elderly are being evicted.

Thank you so much for hosting this conversation. I believe we're on the cusp of major transformation. I agree with Marianne's assessment that spiritual voices must move to the mainstream.
As someone who was deeply unconscious, until about 10 years ago, I disagree with Marianne's sentiment that humanity's level of consciousness has already evolved. Yes, there are many who are living conscious lives, but I believe there are many who are currently navigating spiritual awakenings. Also, the spiritual community is home to many who believe themselves to be spiritually awakened, but are still identified with the ego, lack emotional intelligence, and have yet to do honest self-inquiry.
I believe one of the reasons why things are getting more difficult is because many are being called to awaken. Wake up calls can be painful.
I love that so many in the younger generations arw being born with an expanded awareness, especially around the areas of self-worth, empathy, and compassion. These sensitive Souls never adopted the paradigms of their parents and recognize that worthiness is inherent, not something to be earned. Creating safe spaces and a healthy frame of reference, for our future leaders, is so important.
In any case, thank you so much for this episode. I think it's a necessary conversation and I'd love to see Marianne receive more airtime.
