    Learn Macro Photography hands-on with a Canon 100 mm f/2.8 USM lens and a full frame Canon 5D Mark II with Depth of field explained in detail. Same principles also apply to landscape and portrait photography.
    You don’t need an expensive lighting equipment to make great macro shots. In this video i'll show you how to build your own setup and create amazing macro photographs on a budget. Shooting some everyday items and without leaving home, you too can have a great time with this style of photography that changes the way you see the world.
    Camera Mode: Av (Aperture Priority)
    ISO was set at 200 or lower
    Shutter speed: Varied from 1/30 to 2 sec, camera was on a tripod so was wasn't worried about it much
    Lens: Canon 100 mm f/2.8 USM in MANUAL Focusing Mode (link below)
    Life-size (1x) magnification, with a working distance (lenses front glass to subject) of merely 5-6 inches!
    IMPORTANT: Use "Mirror Lockup" in custom settings in the camera to reduce blur

    Software used: Canon EOS Utility and Adobe Photoshop

    Very useful for landscape photography as well!

    Equipment used: Please look into similar equipment to save money! but don't save money on the lens, that's the most important part!

    Amazing lens and thanks for the tips and tricks for handing objects in mid air or "Levitate". Does EOS Utility work with all canon cameras?

      Yes. works with most canon cameras after the 30D i believe
