After watching this, I re-examined my hydroid prime build, safe to say, im enjoying a similar build, though not planning to go into the 1000's I think it could do fairly well.
Since I have tried Ocucor with the Augment on Hydroid, I think I would never even try any other weapon. I use full Umbra mod set, Nourish on his 2 and Nautilus with Hellstrum gas build. I tried your build, but it did not match my playstyle. But perhaps this is just a ocean theme build here
It is an ocean-themed build but mainly a caster-melee build with weapons supporting, but you can use different weapons. I'm not sure what your playstyle is, but I prefer combo-based gameplay, which means many of my builds require one or more things to work correctly. An excellent example of that is my Kullervo build.
Im so happy with this rework i wanted to try surging blades on him but i cant get myself to subsume his 4 off i love that kraken and extra loot too much lol
Hey just a comment for your channel overall. As a mobile YT user, I tend to look at the video thumbnail more than the tiny title text and I noticed not all of your videos have text in the thumbnail. It would be easier for me to tell roughly what a video was about if there were at least some keywords in the thumbnail of each video!
I’ve noticed the builds in your videos don’t match the builds on your overframe account, soo which should we go by for the best bang for the buck? And sir I’m waiting on Excalibur update I know you got it cooking :)

Wouldn't Wyrd Scythes be an option instead of aqua blades? Since it's a primer and aqua blades and gloom combined..
You can use Wyrd but I personally prefer aqua blades. CC isn't an issue when you are almost impossible to kill anyway.
