This was awesome! Thank you so much for the tour. 😊 We own 25 acres of land ourselves, 20 of it deeply wooded, and I have several bird feeders and have had raccoons , squirrels and of course birds visiting on a daily ( and nightly ) basis, I just wish my husband would share my enthusiasm for wildlife as you do. We also have a swampy area with a pretty big irrigation pond and if my husband was as enthusiastic as you are, I would have a dock, feeding station and camera's set up too..lol. anyway it's so wonderful to see our younger generation lovingly caring and sharing their experiences with wildlife. The invasive plants in your wetlands is called Phagmites. It spreads by seeds from the top and the roots sprout up shoots very similar to bamboo. It will completely destroy and choke out native wetland plants. Phragmites is very hard to eradicate. Contact herbicides such as Rodeo are effective.Rodeo is basically Roundup with a surfactant added. You have a neat setup. Thank you for the tour.
