A similar thing happened to me. I was told that my infant son, who had be premature and then a little later taken very sick, was a sinner. Needless to say I was not happy. In fact I was furious, how can anyone hold a small innocent baby in their arms and tell me the infant is sinner? When the missionaries showed up at my door a week later the first question I asked them was to tell me why my son was a sinner. They got out a book and turned to chapter 8. I've been a member since my little one was a ten months old now he is in his late forties. Missionaries, you've just got to love them.

I had a lady ask me what happened to children that died with out baptism, I asked if she wanted the long or the short answer she said the short, I told her that the child went to heaven. I could tell she was touched by the message but did not want to know more at that point. I hope some future missionary knocked on her door and continued that lesson.

I was also told by my previous Lutheran minster that if something happened to my newborn son, he'd not be saved if I didn't get him baptized. I had just joined the Church so it was time for me to show my faith. I told the minister my son wouldn't have to be baptized until he was eight-years-old when he was old enough to know right from wrong and that I believed God would take him to Him if he died before the age of eight. The minister was very frustrated with me and it was hard for me to not give in but I either believed what I'd been taught by the missionaries or not.

I spent 7-1/2 years in a Lutheran school. The Principal, Miss Olsen, had been a prisoner of the Japanese as a missionary during WW2.
It was a small school and she picked her teachers very carefully.
They were all very special. It's too bad they didn't have the fullness of the gospel.

This happened to my mother when she suffered a late miscarriage. She went to her pastor, at the church she regularly attended. He told her that child was lost because it wasn't baptized, and not to worry, she'd have more children! When a friend introduced her to the church, the gospel and the true fullness of salvation, she was overjoyed to learn that her baby was safe in heaven, and she'd meet them someday.

If one was not so inclined to believe superstitiously they wouldn't need another set of external writings to 'save' them.
One lesson from such stories is about the human's propensity to believe unreasonable philosophies: from such we all need saving.
Alas, sense is scarcely common and reason is often abrogated by fear, and diminished by group think - the need to belong to the pack, the group, the team, the social set, the fraternity, the church.

As a missionary in California over 5o years ago my companions and I had similar experiences with contacts who had lost babies and had been told by their minister that there was no hope for their unbaptized child. What unspeakable joy was in their hearts when they heard the beautiful words of Moroni.

Moroni 8:25 is the verse that triggered me into motion for baptismin 1976! The Lord God opened the book to that chapter and verse while I petitioned Him in prayer about whether or not I was good enough to join His church! When I got off my knees that book which was opened to 2 Nephi somewhere.. was then open to Moroni 8. My eyes went straight to that verse saying baptism was the FIRST fruit of repentance... ♥️

I told her how thankful I was that I KNEW exactly where my baby was and I had complete peace in my heart that he was a perfect child serving an important mission for his Heavenly Father, and that we would be together again one day as a family.

Oh, Sweety. I am find. I am being treated for stage3 beast cancer. Jesus is literally with me everyday as I deal with side effects of chemo. When I have lain in bed with excruciating pain & wrenching, I have cried out to Heavenly Father for help & Jesus is instantly here, sitting next to me, gently stroking my arm, whispering to my body,
"Peace...be still." My body stilled & I was at peace. As to the woman with the "mirror" she has no power over me. I have received priesthood blessings & because I am literally touched by the divine, I have the gift of speaking with those who have passed away & to see into the Spirit World, more so now, Than any other time in my long life. I am A DAUGHTER OF GOD!!!
A WARRIOR PRINCESS!!! I let THE LORD LEAD ME IN ALL THINGS. Jesus is by my side, daily. It's a time/space continuum, thingy.
I appreciated your desire to feed the orphans, but using Elder Holland's message to solicite funds for your orphanage is NOT OF GOD!! Throwing in an "evil witch" with a "mirror" assaulting me is way beyond cruel!!
The occult has no power over me!!
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has the most extensive food welfare delivery system in the world!! They will ship food to your orphanage free of charge!!! I'm surprised you didn't do your research about the church Welfare program!! It's a true eye opener!! So, try to scam somewhere else!! Every month, Members of the church fast for
2 meals. The money they would have spent is donated to the church welfare system to feed the members of their wards & the world!!!. Over the years I have needed their help & I have never gone hungry!! If you do have an orphanage contact the church for help. They will be more than happy to feed hungry children &help out in many other ways!! Good Luck!! #lighttheworld2020

At least 6 years before I ever knew The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints existed, before I ever heard of the Book of Mormon, (I had joined the Catholic Church sho my husband wouldn't be excommunicated) my daughters 6th grade teacher told me of her 25 year broken heart because as a Catholic, she married a wonderful man that she fell in love with, but wasn't Catholic. She was excommunicated. Soon after they were married they learned they would be parents.. A beautiful daughter was born to them. She went to the monseigneur to see if she could have her baby baptized. He yelled at her "No!" and when she dies she will go to purgatory forever. 6 months later her darling little girl died. That mother carried that heavy burdon in her heart for those 25 years. When she told me this, my heart broke for her pain and I said to her "Oh, Rosemary, the Father I worship is a kind, loving, Father. He would never send an innocent child to purgatory because he/ she wasn't baptized as an infant" "I believe that child was taken right up to Heavenly Father's arms. If you are concerned about someone, be concerned for that monseigneur, because I don't think Father is very pleased with him!" Not until I joined the Church and finished the Book of Mormon... when I actually got to Moroni 8, did I have my proof of what I told that dear lady. By the time my daughter and I were able to drive back to visit them, to share this truth with them, did we learn that she had died a few years earlier and her husband died just a few months before we arrived at their home. I knew that both she and her husband now knew what I had shared those many years before was true. Sadly, they have no siblings and no other children, so I guess they must have to wait for the millennium to get their work done. I'm guessing they are ok with that, just knowing their baby girl is in Heavenly Father's presence! What a testamony that was to me! I'm so grateful for the witnesses I recieved long before I was introduced to the true Church and true gospel!

Some years ago just after the tragedy of Dunblane in Scotland where someone had gone into the local primary (elementary ) school and shot many of the children there our Avon lady came knocking at the door. She always came on a Monday evening as we were gathered for our Family Home Evening but noticing her distress we invited her in. Her neighbour who considered herself to be a 'born again Christian ' had told Trish that all of those children would go to hell if they had not been baptized. We had been discussing the beautiful reassuring words of Moroni 8 and as we shared them with Trish she was so relieved and grateful to know that the little boy she had lost in infancy was also safe because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Trish became a regular visitor to our home as she had more questions for us and eventually agreed to meet the missionaries who served in your area at that time. Our daughter went to the same ballet classes as her daughter and so our friendships grew and they joined the Church ..... all because of Moroni 8 and the wonderful peace of mind that comes from knowing how much our Saviour Jesus Christ has done for all of us through His Infinite Atonement and God's unconditional love.

Talk about Christ-like perseverance! Here is another encouraging quote (also from Elder Holland) that might provide some encouragement: “If we can just have some feelings for the gospel, if we just love each other, I suppose that’s a place to begin. And if those children are unresponsive, maybe you can’t teach them yet, but you can love them. And if you love them today, maybe you can teach them tomorrow.” I’m sure you’re doing a great job loving them! www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/ensign/2007/06/teaching-and-learning-in-the-church

Yep I'm having similar experiences with my family all except my mother who has dementia and my sister in law who can't understand why my other siblings treat me that way. I do enjoy my video chats with my Mum though and yesterday she held up her glass Nativity scene that lights up and plays Christmas carols for me to see and said "This is for you when I'm gone , Linda, as I know that you'll appreciate it " Today we talked of childhood memories and I learned how she struggled in school with her reading and writing. It sounds as though she may have had dyslexia but she has overcome so much and worked as a printer and book binder as a young woman and became an auxiliary nurse in her 30s. She believes in God and loves to tune into Songs of Praise each Sunday. We've even sung carols and hymns on some of our video chats as they bring her so much joy. I'm so grateful for her faith and example of trusting in God especially over the last 13 years since Dad passed through the veil.

Elder Holland, accounts like this one are spiritually comforting indeed. And these accounts are happening all across the world with many missionaries. I've experienced some truly poignant accounts myself while serving a full-time mission. This is a divine witness of how the Lord goes before us, on our right hand and our left and behind us, as He touches the hearts of all those He has already prepared through the power of the Holy Spirit to hear His divinely chosen messages through His very own called mouthpieces, the missionaries who have dedicated a portion of their lives to truly serve Him 100%. Given these circumstances, our Savior, Jesus Christ, can literally teach His sheep, as He knows each one personally and knows their every need. When truly dedicated missionaries are blessed with the power of the Holy Spirit, the messages are delivered with exactness, so as to permeate the very souls of those prepared by the Lord with piercing messages that turn their hearts to their Savior. True conversion through these divine appointments between the Lord and those that lend an ear to hear Him testify that when we're on the Lord's errand, He accomplishes His work. It's an honor to walk in His footsteps, to be His mouthpiece so that at the exact moments of conversion, His missionaries are inspired to deliver such personal wisdom that simply cannot be denied that it comes from an all knowing, all loving wise Savior. In these poignant moments, hearts are forever changed, great tears of joy are expressed, and unshakable testimonies are born. This is His work. Jesus Christ is our risen Lord and Redeemer, and He is inviting all souls upon this earth to come unto HIM and join His fold in this, the true church of Jesus Christ. I know of this process personally, and I testify that His miracles happens daily. Jesus Christ is the Savior of this world, He lives and leads us all along His covenant path. I so testify in the sacred name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

When I was in grade school my classmate went to catechism every Thu. afternoon. I asked what they learned and he said I was going to hell because I didn't believe in Christ. I said I didn't even know about Christ! How can I be damned if no one gave me a chance?! I concluded that church wasn't for me! I went to BYU Hawaii and felt God's love for the first time when my bishop said God wanted him to give me a blessing. I couldn't believe the love I felt under his hands - not from him but from God himself! So many points of doctrine agreed with what I had concluded a genuine church must teach, but the love of the Savior and Heavenly Father was what convinced me to be baptised. My heart aches for all those parents who have been told the same thing about children they've lost! Thank you for posting! I think you should change the title to reflect that for those who lost their children and are searching for answers to comfort their hearts; "what happens to children who die at a young age" perhaps.

I love Elder Holland and he is on point about Chastity, purity and the Commandment to live clean lives. However, i differ on his position on homosexual lesbian policy that we cannot pass judgement on unnatural feelings. I believe the Lord has made it clear on the sodom and gomorrah case. With the power of choice and the Lords Atonement we can resist the urge to want to engage in unnatural acts. Sin begins is first conceived in the mind then matures to an act. When it is resisted in the mind, the person refuses to be mastered by sin and temptation. God has given us the power to be lords, rulers and masters over sin........

We have one God and one God alone. Just like you have/had one Father and one Father only. And no matter how mature you become as a person, you will only every have one Father, and he will ALWAYS be your father, no matter where you go and what you do.
So it is with our Heavenly Father. Our God. He will always be our God, no one else. And we should never look to anyone else but him for worship, admiration, and pursuit.
We have been promised that we can become like him and receive all that he has. We are His Children.
As for other Gods, we don't know anything about any other Gods, so it's an interesting thought experiment to think there could be other God's, but that's entirely speculation. So, again, because we don't know anything, AND because we've been commanded to, we worship and pray to our Heavenly Father and Him alone.

There are no other Gods but me, you listen to me. I am your Savior, your protector, and your creator. The only way you've got a chance at this universe is through me."
Idolatry was the primary sin of ancient (and let's face it, Modern) peoples. Thinking that their own efforts, their own works could save them. "I made this statue, and it will protect me." "We built this golden idol, it will protect our nation". This leads to selfishness, ingratitude, arrogance, and then onto every other vice and sin. Looking to God for everything, including forgiveness, our salvation and eternal life, makes us be humble, obedient, grateful, and thus more focused on righteousness and doing what's Good.
Latter-Day Saints recognize God and his power and His power alone. We also have been taught by God that He wants to give us EVERYTHING HE HAS. Even CS Lewis, not a Latter-Day Saint, recognized this potential and spoke of it often. Every Good Parent wants their child to grow up like them. God is our Father. *
    I’m a Mormon.
We should believe the Scriptures, not man.
And the Scriptures testify the Mormon Church is the only true Church of Jesus Christ on earth.
But if something is taught that can't be verified by Scripture, think twice about believing it.
I understand why so many people are leaving the church.
Many false doctrines exist causing countless RUclips videos mocking Mormonism.
False doctrines like grandpa gods, (God the Father has a father), Mormons becoming gods of their own planets, Adam helped create the earth, Christ and Satan are brothers, God the Father has rarely spoken in Scripture, the African Americans were bad in the pre-existence; all of which no Scripture verifies.
And each Sunday the Sacrament is tainted because only Elders and Priests can administer but the Deacons prepare/administer and the Teachers pass/administer the Sacrament. (D&C 20:57)
And the Lord says, He’s bound when we do what He says but if not there is no promise. (D&C 82:10)
…that the scriptures might be fulfilled; for ye shall do according to that which is written. (D&C 24:14)
And we wonder why there’s depression, mental illness and other unspeakable events among us?
And many are leaving the church because if you don't fit the mold the church leaders sculpture you're not a part of the click.
Mormons believe the church leaders over Scripture.
The zealous believers have the church leaders in mind with everything thing they think say and feel testifying to impress others how much they believe the current church leaders are God-inspired.
But the Scriptures reveal the church leaders are the problem with the entire planet.
    For example,
In 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 we are informed of a person revealed as the son of perdition
This son of perdition sits in the temple of God making himself God or above all that is called God.
Therefore, if the Mormon Church is the only true church, and I believe it is and will back that belief using the Scriptures, then the only person 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 could be talking about is the current Mormon prophet.
For what other church is the one and only true church with temples?
And Joseph Smith taught a son of perdition can only be a church member holding all the rights of God's priesthood and using the priesthood against God as did Judas.
Therefore, who else other than the current Mormon prophet could the apostle Paul be speaking of?
It's as plain as the nose on a face.
And even God in the Doctrine and Covenants tells us about the current church leaders and how displeased He is saying the end of this world will begin among them. (D&C 112:23-26)
Joseph Smith taught the false doctrine of grandpa gods (God the Father has a father) not over the pulpit as a prophet but as a sermon at a funeral, which should not be taken as Scripture fulfilling God’s sayings to Paul, And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (2 Thessalonians 2:11)
That they might be damned who believed not the truth….(2Thessalonians 2:12)
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. (Revelation 13:7) (D&C 112:23-26)
And the current Mormon prophet is the son of perdition because he has all the saints believing God our Heavenly Father was created by a being greater than Himself but Scripture says there is no greater than our God. (Hebrews 6:13)
Therefore, the son of perdition has all the saints breaking the first commandment God gave Moses,
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Does it make sense to reasonable thinking that God would command we have no other gods before Him but really there are?
Does He not want us to know this?
    Why is it a secret?
There’s a reason He commanded to have no other gods before Him.
Because by believing in false grandpa gods the saints believe our God is an infinitely lesser God putting Lucifer before God.
And the moment we put a god before our God, our God becomes an infinitely lesser God.
Not only that, our God also becomes a liar.
He and the Scriptures says He is the greatest of all.
He and the Scriptures says He is the Most High God.
He and the Scriptures say He created all things.
And in the Scriptures He says over and over there are no gods beside Him. (Isaiah 44:6) (Isaiah 44:8) (Isaiah 45:22) (Hebrews 6:13)
Therefore, the saints believing there are gods before Him is the saints believing the son of perdition or the current Mormon prophet over the Scriptures and calling God and the Scriptures a lie.
    And Isaiah warns,
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)
The saints call the son of perdition (President Nelson) good and good (Jesus Christ) evil.
Because President Nelson says Christ and His Father are liars.
President Nelson says Christ did not create all things. (John 1:1-3)
Matter/energy cannot be created or destroyed the scientists say therefore the son of perd. or President Nelson says the grandpa gods created these calling Christ and the Scriptures a lie.
Well did Abinadi warn the wicked king Noah and his priests,
Have ye taught this people that they should observe to do all these things for to keep these commandments? (Mosiah 13:25)
I say unto you, Nay; for if ye had, the Lord would not have caused me to come forth and to prophesy evil concerning this people. (Mosiah 13:26)
And what is the commandment Abinadi taught that the people do not obey?
Thou shalt have no other God before me. (Mosiah 12:35)
Know ye not that I speak the truth? Yea, ye know that I speak the truth; and you ought to tremble before God. (Mosiah 12:30)
And it is a false doctrine to say God our Heavenly Father has rarely spoke to us in Scripture.
    (3Nephi 27:26), (3Nephi 24:1). (2Nephi 31:20), (2Nephi 31:11) (D&C 49:20), (3Nephi 20:29) (D&C 49:5), (Moses chapters 1-2)
Beware of the doctrine of the scribes and Pharisees. (Matthew 16:6-12)

@John Berenger: There are many evidences for the existence of God and His intimate presence in our lives, and I can tell you of how you can see it for yourself. The evidence is obtainable through experimentation, is reinforced upon repetition, and there are many many people who testify to it, including the prophets, both ancient and modern. But you see, it is a common but unfortunate belief that evidence for God and spiritual things must be of the kind that can be shared directly with other people in order to be believable. But spiritual things are communicated directly to our spirits, though their effects can be seen in all facets of life.
I suggest studying Alma chapter 32 in the Book of Mormon, and Moroni 10:3-5 to see what I am talking about regarding experimenting to verify the word of God, including the process God has said we should follow if we really want to know He is there and His words are true, as well as how he will show us the evidence. See, just as you would expect if God existed, knowing him comes on His terms, not ours, so it is necessary for is to be humble and pursue this knowledge precisely as he instructs. If we will not bring ourselves to do this, how can we say that we are ready for the knowledge He has to give us? How can we expect Him to answer in that situation? But those scriptural promises of faith and knowledge are true, and you will find them if you truly desire them.
Best wishes to you and good traveling on the path you will tread.

What evidence do you have that there is no God? I say that you have none, save it be your word only.
I have a testimony that there is a God. The scriptures are laid before you, and all things denote there is a God; even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, and its motion, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator.

    Real Presence in the Eucharist
Who is Right and Who is wrong?
    RIGHT
    Jesus and St. John
    St. John 6:
35 Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; he who comes to me shall not hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst.
36 But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe.
37 All that the Father gives me will come to me; and him who comes to me I will not cast out.
    38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me;
39 and this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up at the last day.
40 For this is the will of my Father, that every one who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day."
41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, "I am the bread which came down from heaven." 42 They said, "Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does he now say, 'I have come down from heaven'?"
43 Jesus answered them, "Do not murmur among yourselves.
44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
45 It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by God.' Every one who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me.
46 Not that any one has seen the Father except him who is from God; he has seen the Father.
47 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life.
48 I am the bread of life.
49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died.
50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat of it and not die.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh."
52 The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, "How can this man give us his flesh to eat?"
    53 So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you;
54 he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me.
58 This is the bread which came down from heaven, not such as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live for ever."
66 After this many of his disciples drew back and no longer went about with him.
67 Jesus said to the twelve, "Do you also wish to go away?"
    68 Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life;
69 and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God."
If these Jews had misunderstood Jesus, then Jesus would have been obliged to clarify what He had said, as He did with with Nichodemus (St. John 1:1-9) and the woman at the well (St. John 4:7-15), because He is the way, the truth and the life. Jesus did not engage in any “clarification which confirms that what He said was to be taken literally.
    Jesus and St. Matthew
    St. Matthew 6:
    11 Give us this day our daily bread;
25* "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink, nor about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
... confirmed by Jesus and St. Luke
    St. Luke 11:
    3 Give us each day our daily bread;
    St. Luke 12:
22 And he said to his disciples, "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat, nor about your body, what you shall put on
29 And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be of anxious mind.
It is clear from the double repetition about not worrying about what to eat in the same chapter in St. Matthew and the next chapter in St. Luke, the the daily bread in the Lord's Prayer is different from normal daily food.
    Jesus and St. Matthew
    St. Matthew 26:
26 Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is my body."
    27 And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, "Drink of it, all of you;
28 for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Jesus and St. Mark and St. Peter, for whom St. Mark wrote
    St. Mark 14:
22 And as they were eating, he took bread, and blessed, and broke it, and gave it to them, and said, "Take; this is my body."
23 And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, and they all drank of it.
24 And he said to them, "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.
    Jesus and St. Luke
    St. Luke 22:
19 And he took bread, and when he had given thanks he broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me."
20 And likewise the cup after supper, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.
Jesus, St. Luke, Cle'opas and his companion
    St. Luke 24:
30 When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed, and broke it, and gave it to them.
31 And their eyes were opened and they recognized him; and he vanished out of their sight.
32 They said to each other, "Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the scriptures?"
33 And they rose that same hour and returned to Jerusalem; and they found the eleven gathered together and those who were with them,
34 who said, "The Lord has risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!"
35 Then they told what had happened on the road, and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread.
    St. Paul
    1 Corinthians 11:
23 For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread,
24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me."
25 In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me."
26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of profaning the body and blood of the Lord.
28 Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
29 For any one who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment upon himself.
St. Ignatius of Antioch and St. Irenaeus
The early Church Fathers interpreted these passages literally. In summarizing the early Fathers' teachings on Christ's Real Presence, renowned Protestant historian of the early Church, J.N.D. Kelly, writes: “Eucharistic teaching it should be understood at the outset, was in general unquestioningly realistic, i.e. The consecrated bread and wine were taken to be, and were treated and designated as, the Saviour's body and blood.” (Early Christian Doctrines, 440)
From the Church's early days, the Fathers referred to Christ's presence in the Eucharist . Kelly writes: “Ignatius roundly declares that ... [t]he bread is the flesh of Jesus, the cup his blood. Clearly he intends this realism to be taken strictly, for he makes it the basis for his argument against the Docetists' denial of the reality of Christ's body ... Irenaeus teaches that the bread and wine are really teh Lord's body and blood. His witness is indeed, all the more impressive because he produces it quite incidentally while refuting the Gnostic and Docetic rejection of the Lord's humanity.”
St. Ignatius of Antioch died circa 110 A.D.
St. Irenaeus died circa 202 A.D.

    Http:// lutherantheologystudygroup.blogspot.com/2011/12/why-zwingli-rejected-real-presence-in.html
The Marburg Colloquy was a meeting held in Marburg Castle, Margburg, Hesse, Germany to resolve the dispute between Martin Luther and Huldrych Zwingli over the Real Presence of Christ in the Lord's Supper. Although they found a consensus on 14 points. They kept differing on the last one pertaining to the Lord's Supper. Luther asserted that by Sacramental Union, the consecrated bread and wine in the Lord's Supper were united to the true body and blood Christ for all communicants to eat and drink. Zwingli considered bread and wine only symbols of the body and blood of Christ. On this issue they parted without having reached an agreement.

Read the Bible in context. Start with the book of John. It’s a different Jesus, different Gospel and different God. I was a 6th generation Mormon for 30 years until I read the Bible. Seek the truth because your soul and eternity depends on it. Finding out if something is true doesn’t come from praying and feelings. The Bible warns us about trusting our heart. My family is all leaving the church because they’re finding the truth. I pray all Mormons seek for themselves because it’s the most important thing you’ll ever do 🙏🏻 Galatians 5, Ephesians 2, Romans 3, Colossians 1, John 1,
“Faith comes by hearing the Word of God” Romans 10:17

Does the Bible you read not say: “If any of ye lack wisdom, let him ask of God?”
Ephesians 2 is great, as it talks about a crucial foundation for the Church: “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;”
John 14:26 also shows us that “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
God teaches us truth through the Holy Ghost as it says in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. You can pray and ask God to have the Holy Ghost make known the truth of all things, I have done so and know that the Book of Mormon is a true testament of the Lord.

@@jacobbowers7137 You just made my point very clear. James 1:5 is always taken out of context by Mormons and I use to do it to but I have repented. If you read the whole chapter, in context, you will notice it's talking about rejoicing when you face trials because it is the testinf of our faith that produces perserverence. I do ask the Lord for wisdom on that often because it's difficult to rejoice over a difficult trial. James 1:5 is NOT talking about asking wisdom on which church to join. Also I am a Christian that believes in the 5 fold ministry which is apostles, prophets, teachers, pastors and evangelists are still for today. I also believe in the Baptism by fire which is the baptism of the Holy Ghost and the evidence is speaking in tongues. I have NEVER heard a Mormon speak in tongues.... The most important thing however is knowing who Jesus is. Jesus created all things in Colossians 1:16 so Jesus could NOT be Lucifer's brother beacuse Jesus created him. I know there is no sense in giving you scripture because you are blind.... so instead I will do the most powerful thing and pray for you. The bible says Faith comes by hearing the word of God not by prayer. I don't need to pray about the Book of Mormon to know it's true. I've read it many many times and it does NOT line up with the Bible so thats how I know its not true. God Bless You

The truth in spirit flows eternally forward the body lies to the spirit and it flows eternally reverse/revere from truth, those who are stuck in the material plain will live Revelation and those who follow after the spirit find truth, what Jesus did was healed the spirit and the body. Those who seek the end in Revelations will find it and those who seek the truth in the beginning will find the veil leaving their eyes. Judgement comes to only those who judge, you have your will of creation upon all creation so judge not less ye be, judged yourself. All is forgiven, death/darkness took possession of all word, it is only his fault. Everything I've learned, I have learned on my own. I have never read the Bible till after I had my dreams with Jesus, he himself explained things to me. I explained everything in my book. Everyone has all word of creation upon them, each word has their own cell of aura, it is a firmament as this Galactic cell is the body of Christ, it has an aura and you are a word of creation within the body of Christ, you live the body of Christ and he has already died for your sins, that has enabled him as The Lord of Hosts. Within the handshake of all things, Jesus was the Body, he lived the experience of the spirit of the most high and the will of the father is the will within the body of Christ he gets to live the body of Christ with no powers, only faith, he will only present himself by the word and he stands firm with all the word. Genesis, Moses is not leading us into the book of word he is leading us out, back to the beginning. (Example) God placed a firmament between all the word and us as word have been placed within a six feet firmament caused by the corona-tion/crown lasted a year. Next is the (word was God) goes on all this year. Next year the word will start understanding these things and it will be, the (word was with God.) Next year after the word will have their full understanding of these things and God will be one with (the Word) as they are the bride to the body of Messiah, then Jesus by will, have ascended to the father, Jesus is proof that even death will experience life. (Bible says, God comes by the truth of your heart is your crown)means/corona, it is also your body and your Galactic cell upon Omega. We are the word of God and our actions are the signs of word, welcome to the corona/tion. Each sentence in the Bible is a sentence from order and each sentence is a year sentence as (1 in the beginning was the word) and (2 the word was with God) and (3 the word was God) (4 and the corona/crown has placed us as word six feet of firmament from each other.) Truth of word flows eternally forward as the distortion of truth is number, numb/cold power numb/ber. The multitudes are being taken back from death/darkness as legion is many, took everything from all the word. The light in the darkness is this grain of earth within this universal body and it is protecting all of life as you have a Galactic cell out there and this Galactic cell we are in right now is the body of Christ, you live the body of Christ within Omega as you have all word/will of creation upon you, within each cell is a throne, for all word of creation, you have your will/word of creation upon equal me/a/sure, you are a universal body, when this is over you will be shown all your action and consequence upon your Galactic realm and when trust is earnt you will claim your universal body again, within this multiverse. (universe/unity of verse/unity of word. I wrote a book it is all over the world, the book is called, The last shall be the first and the first shall be the last by Joseph Darrell Walker. If you know the Bible then you will know everything. Voices in head are not mental, think positive and legion as he is many will leave. Genesis/Moses isn't leading us into the darkness, he is walking us out of it, so read 4,3,2,1, and it will make better sense. All things fall, back to GOD, Isaiah 11;12. The more you wake people up, by that measure has woke up unto you so speak truth to the fullest and you will find faith walking within you. clkhg

The Book of Mormon teaches that Moroni was a great man, a renown warrior who died and became an angel. The Holy Bible does not teach that a man can become an angel when he dies, this is false teaching. Therefore, since this teaching is false, Moroni is a
false messenger and The Book of Mormon is a False Gospel.

You can believe through the Holy Ghost. If you pray to know if something is true and honestly listen in your heart for the answer that comes, you can feel the Holy Spirit confirm its truth if it is true. I encourage you to pray about the truth of this message. God knows you and each of us and loves you and each of us! I wish you the best in all your doings!
