When I left Ford to work for Subaru in 2020, I was no longer able to review new and used cars. So, that put a damper on things. Last August, I took a job in automotive equipment sales, so I lost lift access to show repairs. I am working on getting a lift and possibly some new personal vehicles. I haven't written the channel off just yet. Thanks for reaching out.
You are a great mechanic believe me you could open a channel showing how to DIY fix your car or engine or rebuild or fix codes or anything that specializes in the mechanic field. I know you like what others are doing showing cars and such, but it could not be the right thing to do. A mechanical channel will be best because you will enjoy it and you will love it and try to do what you do best. Even talking about how things are built and why they build it like that and history of engine and common problems with it for the past years and how they fixed it ect.. best luck buddy
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS thank you for explaining. And im sorry you are feeling that way because mechanic field is sooo much fun and profitable but sometimes like any other field the job burnout makes us look for another field. I strongly relate to that and it sucks. Good luck buddy and we support you 💯
Hey PiPs, just to give you an urgent head's ^UP^ on that VW model. Long story short . . . WatchJRGo had three of those GTI's and guess what fella'. ?!? Every one he took ownership on developed a myriad of fluid LEAKS. That's right, due to the excessive use of phriggin' PLASTIC connectors on the hoses these components FAIL at an alarming rate. You're in for a real headache with this vehicle hopefully not a day after the damn factory warranty expires. REAL TALK ?!? You may have a real cash sieve on your hands. BTW - Those flannel shirt SEAT inserts are G-D hideous. You can't be happy with that crap interior. Hope This Helps Yo ! 🚙. 🔍. 👎
Thanks for the concern. I am aware, I started my career as a VW tech in 1998. I doubt I will keep it that long and we own a VW dealer 3 miles from my house. Happy Easter John.
Great car, the GTI has always been one of the top driver's cars, you will enjoy it. It's more fun to drive a "slow car" fast; than to drive a fast car, slow. I always enjoyed moving from my Corvette to my JCW Mini Cooper, so I get it. Now bring that GTI to AWE Exhaust and start the mods!! And you parked your Mustang waaaay too close to curb with that front spoiler! Congrats! and it was great to see Scott on camera, he talks to much!
Thanks! The first time I pulled in, I parked way farther back and explained that to the new owner. I think I am going to start with a tune and go from there.
Nice choice Brian! I was glad to see you didn’t get one with the DSG. What’s going on with your user “friend” AutoSnob? He could be making millions with the amount of subs he has. Shame he is just too lazy!!
As a longtime Mustang owner -- current is a 2019 Bullitt -- I am torn. One of the earliest cars I drove was a GTI, and I have to admit, it was fun as all get-out. And at 61 years old, I would definitely rather have paid-off! I get it. Have fun. And Happy Easter to you!
The GTi is fun, just a different kind of fun and being paid off make it even better. I am sure there will be more mustangs in my future. I have owned 5 so far.
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS I'm currently living deep behind Confederate lines in Tennessee but I used to work in Moon Twp. I used to know that whole area like the back of my hand. I grew up in Penn Hills and went to Pitt and I'll always be a proud Pittsburgher. Your channel, along with Mikes AutoVlogs and Matt Maran's give me a taste of Western Pa everytime I watch.
Congrats on the gti! I got a 23 Honda civic hatchback back in March. I know it’s just a civic but I love that thing. the savings on gas is great coming from my frontier getting 15 mpg to 36 mpg lol
The Subaru was a piece of shit steering rack blow out, engine started burning oil and other issues. But I don’t have a car loan so I’m happy with that.
So do a up date video on what you think you might be doing in the future. I feel like I don't know what is going on in your life. Was great to hear from you again. I hope you had a great Easter. God Bless you and the family.
My girlfriend's husband is a huge Subaru fan
I have had 7 of them!
Congrats! I love the plaid seats! Seems like a great fit for you, enjoy!
Thanks Matt!!

Hey brian where have you been its been a year hope your doing well bortha
Hello Mark, thanks for reaching out. I am doing well plan to start putting out more content in the near future.
I do not understand this downgrade! Why not just get the R, instead?
I was not planning to buy another car just yet, the GTI just fell in my lap and I needed a ride home!
dang man! that mustang was super rad! but I feel you maybe something more practical daily driver
It was an I miss it already!
I just saw your car its a red like truck with your YT Channel written on it
At South hills village??
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS yeah
Congrats Brian. I’m not a fan of the plaid seats, but you got the manual. Enjoy!
Thanks! The plaid has been a GTi staple for a long time. I like them but they are not for everyone.
Brian. I'm thinking this was a wife decision 🤔 maybe I'm wrong
Nope, she didn’t like the Mustang but she hates the GTI!
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS maybe that's why I never got married 😷
Your a good man. You put family first
Big fan of GTI’s from my younger days. Pop a tune in that age it will seriously rip
Tune is going to be the first mod!
Seems like a downgrade to me , but cool
Oh, it’s definitely a downgrade but no monthly payment is awesome.
No payment is awesome

GTI is a fun car to drive. I’ve owned two of them. But we got rid of them at about 75k miles. It is a VW after all.
Very fun! This is my third and I don’t plan to keep this one past 72k because that’s when the warranty runs out LOL
Hey what happened? Been really quiet here and havent seen you over on AutoVlog either. Hope you are doing okey.
Yah, I kinda took a break for no good reason. Doing well and I appreciate you checking on me. Hope to start posting again soon.

I remember when you went on the hunt for the Mustang. It's better to part with it if you rarely drove it. Liking your GTI.
That’s what I was thinking.
VW's are fun cars to zip around in. I gave my 2015 Jetta SE to my daughter and have wanted it back ever since! Congrats on the GTI!
Thanks, they are!
Congratulations! I had a mk7 I loved it I now have a mk8 GTI it's fun car to drive
Nice! Thanks
Its smart money wise.
I thought I recognized the Sewickley Bridge at the beginning of the video. Watching this channel makes me miss my hometown of Pittsburgh.

Hey brian nice car, mabye you can line it up against the RS7 and beat AutoVlogs ass in the Golf GTI
Thanks, I would love to but more than triple the horse power, I don't have a chance against the RS7
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS Yeah, I was joking about the race but nice car man. Excited to see more content with the car.
You should of trade in the mustang and the f150 and get a gen 2 raptor

The plaid is a really nice touch. I really like it.
