wow, I had no idea the leaves matured to be that long! I've had my caput-medusae for three years and it looks exactly the same as the day I got it haha

Thank you again Dave (aka King of Air plants!) for another very informative and very interesting video! I look forward to seeing more on each variety, its nice to learn all we can about each of our individual favourites! This is one I truly love, and I have several of them. Excellent work, keep it up!

A fascinating video! Thank you for all the information! I loved the comparison of different stages of the medusae - really helpful! Also, I have a few air plants that have grown roots, I thought it was because they were thirsty (though they didn't look it otherwise). But now I know they're probably just happy. Great video!

Medusa in greek means jelly fish which were named probably after the medusa of mythology for the tentacles resemble the snake hair

@@DavesAirPlantCorner that would be wonderful! I have some of these and I want to know if you soak them for about 10 minutes every week or how di you water yours?

@@mauravandehey6584 You've probably figured it out by now, but for anyone else who doesn't know, you do NOT soak tectorum; you don't even dunk it. You walk up to it and whisper "water" to it. Kidding; mist it once in a while; weekly? monthly?

Hi Dave! Thanks for the video!
I have a question, How long should I soak my medusae?

Hi Trinity! Thanks for watching :)
You can soak your medusae for 1-3 hours depending on how often you soak them. Just make sure after soaking you let it dry upside down or on its side with good airflow so they won't rot at the base.

I'm still confused as to how you water when they are blooming or even just getting ready to bloom.. What about when you first see a bloom spike coming up? Is it still ok to soak them, or do you just spray them the whole time they're blooming?
