Both Singer song-writers are a force to be reckon with, I think this is a great tribute to Bowie. He's not Mimicking/or copying Bowie but doing his own rendition of his friends style. I have to say being a fan of both, it's fantastic! I love both renditions.

what an absolutely STUNNING piece of ART, the timbre of Peters' magnificent voice, the backing music is like some kind of smooth, bold and melancholic swirling liquid chocolate,, I can't describe it any other way....it is just GORGEOUS on every level, I really could listen to this piece all day long.....thank you for posting...

While this is a great rendition by Mr. Murphy, it pales in comparison to the original by Bowie. It is I’m afraid, lacking the same innovative enthusiasm of Mr. Murphy’s Bauhaus’ rendition of Bowie’s “Ziggy Stardust”.

Bowie was a pretty damn good vocalist (and dreamboat like whoa), but Peter has all that, and his voice has got deep and exquisite soul! I'm a big fan of both. They tie for my favorite artist (okay Susumu Hirasawa is right up there, too).
