Thanks for the video. I just got my kit today and did the first assignment - who knew painting boxes would be so difficult :) I look forward to watching you blaze the trail ahead of me.
Very helpful video. Good job. I’m interested in how you progress because I also have no art background but interested to learn using evolve program. Maybe post a few times as you work thru block 2
That con in being in your own is rubish. That’s why there are homework rooms where you can get help from more experienced people. Also you can do digital after evolve. I think you need to do more in the program before making reviews like this.
I've never taken this program, but I've enjoyed some of the videos Kevin Murphy put out about oil painting. Seems like a really nice guy! The $2500 seems reasonable - that's about the same price I've paid for professional/college courses, and those didn't come with supplies. I'd argue there are fantastic alternatives to Old Holland out there (especially in the US! Vasari/Rublev/Blue Ridge are small businesses that are beloved by many, and Gamblin/M Graham/Williamsburg are all US-made and pretty legit)... but honestly, OH has great paint and I don't think anyone would be disapointed to use them. I'm in the strange position of being a professional artist (but switching from digital to traditional). I took a look at the Evolve program, but I already do similar studies on my own... so I don't know how much the program would actually help me, haha! Having that structure seems nice, and I'm glad you're getting a lot out of it! It really looks like a solid program, and focusing on black/white values is a fantastic way of starting an artistic journey.
I appreciated you taking the time to review the Evolve Art program. Would love to see your before and after paintings.
Thank you!! Deaf will make a video
Thank you! Please, Nicole, continue with the program and show us your work.
Thank you!

Glad it was helpful! That first assignment was rough lol
Thanks for this. I have been interested in this program for so long. This review really answered a lot of questions for me. Thank you!
It's great. Would recommend

Great suggestion!
Good review, thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Mithrilda on RUclips actually discusses how the skills transfer to digital art.
I love her!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Was it 2500 for each block or the whole thing? Thank you for the video being looking for this not a lot of people review their experience.
2500 for the first 4 blocks
1st four
You can monthly, also you should not be watching RUclips videos for suggestions, only the instructors are who you should ask for clarifications.
Yes, ask instructors!
Thanks for sharing! Are you still going through the program? Will you be doing another video like this? Have a good one. 😀
Yes I am!
@@n.enesseI would also love to see a follow-up video
@@JS-ys2uk Yeah! It is coming
looks like a good course .....one question...do you need to pay extra money for blocks 5-8?...keep the great work
Yes you do. Blocks 5-8 are the same price you paid for 1-4

Eh, it doesn't replace 1:1 in person
