Why can't more people make tutorials exactly like you?
Less than one minute talking and introduction and 7+ minutes of Guitar Tutorial Action, where I can actually learn by looking with my eyes, as if someone would actually be standing in front of me.
It's not that hard, isn't it? Just put a camera and zoom to actually see the strumming pattern clearly.
I will learn and use this songs for this christmas eve, to play to my father, since it's only us two in the family. I'm sure he will be happy!.
Thank you so much for showing how easy it is to get into Guitar!

    If you're a beginner - read this
As a guitar teacher, part of every beginning students' lessons are the G, C, and D chords (along with a simple pick/strum pattern). A significant challenge for beginners is to change from the G to the D (or any chord), the student must raise ALL their fingers and re-position them for the next chord. And for a beginner, this means thinking about where each finger is to go, then placing the finger in that position. All of us can remember how time-consuming and frustrating that is. The beauty of this video is the instructor has positioned the student's third and fourth fingers in a sort of "anchor" position, which never change. Now, the student only has to consider the first and second finger positions, which they can relate to the existing positions of their third and forth finger. In my opinion, this method will allow the student to change from chord to chord more quickly than the traditional chord finger positions. As for the issue of the chords being alternate/non-standard fingerings, while that is true, if the student finds this method easier to learn and allows them to get playin', then why not?

Wow you make it look easier. I just want to play some Christmas songs this year. I'll give it a try. My wife died 16 months ago and thought I'd pick it up pretty easy but not so much. Thx

Hey man. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I couldn't imagine. I am glad, however, that I can help you pick up the guitar. Good luck to you.
