Hello! It’s nice to meet you too 😃 I love that music is a universal language and can connect people who do not speak the same language. Unfortunately I do not speak Japanese 🙈 but I am very glad you like my music and find my voice soothing. I hope you tune in to my next lesson 🌟🎶
Wishing you a beautiful and blessed Christmas Amber ❤ You have blessed us with your joy, your love of music, and your skillful guitar playing this whole year ❤ Thank you ❤
Merry Christmas Amber !! Song moves along quick, I was playing too slow at first. Also your hand stops on the D mutes, how do you keep timing. Just curiuos as a beginner.
Hey Richard 😊 yeah the song does move quite quickly! You can always slow the song down by using the gears ⚙️ toggle and making the speed slower. For the D chord with the mute, I strum the D on beat 1 and mute right afterwards and hold the mute for counts 2,3,4. And then for a further bar (1,2,3,4). This is also taking place while the singing is happening so it doesn’t sound like huge open gaps of silence. Hope this helps!
Hi Schalk 🌟 oh my goodness this is so exciting! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy playing this song in church! 😃🌟🎶🎄 merry Christmas to you in SA 🇿🇦
Thank you so much for the Christmas wishes and I wish the same for you. I live in the Limpopo province in a tiny town called Phalaborwa where copper has been mined for nearly 100 years. Our neighbor is the famous Kruger National Park and believe it or not we do have wild animals roaming our streets, such an awesome beautiful place here in the real African bush veld. Thank you for the wonderful lessons, keep them coming, you make it so easy to learn. By the way I'm a 66 year old retired engineer. Take care. Blessings.🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Really lovely to meet you Schalk 😊 sounds like you are from a very culturally rich area of our beautiful country! I grew up in Cape Town/Stellenbosch area 🍷 🍷 I’ve moved over to Dubai now to get a bit of life experience, but will definitely be back in SA soon 🇿🇦
@@thestellarguitarist wow, how awesome is that, my son lives in Cape Town, Dale Steyn, played cricket for the Proteas for many years, he's retired now. We are going to stay in his house in Kometjie in February for 2 weeks. Strangely enough I thought you had a very familiar accent. So glad to meet you as well. Now I really look forward to your next tutorial. Take care. Blessings.🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
@@schalksteyn9594 you are Dale Steyn’s dad?? Well it’s absolutely an honour to meet you!! My husband is an insane Cricket fan (and player with his mates). He absolutely idolises Dale and he is going to freak out when I tell him I’ve been chatting with his pa! 😃🇿🇦 🏏 happy holidays and blessings to the Steyns! From the Turners 🇿🇦 🙏
Good video. How do you compare your Taylor GS-Mini to your Grand Auditorium? Is the GS-Mini a significant step down from say a GA or a 000? When you purchased your Mahogany GS mini how did it compare to the Sapele or the KOA models? I am trying to decide whether to buy a GS-Mini or a GA.
Hi Stephanie, I love both guitars. I cannot fault them. I bought my GA first and because I was so impressed with the Taylor tone, I looked into a mini because I wanted to be able to travel with it and use it in reels (I sometimes struggle to get the neck of my GA in when filming). I tried the KOA. personally, I did not like it. It sounded thin and lacked volume and depth. But wow, when I tried out the GS mahogany a few days later I was left speechless (almost to the point of thinking .. maybe I should have just bought the Mini from the very beginning!!) I love both my guitars. Right now I’m playing the Mini more because it’s new and I’m that impressed. 🎶 hope this helps.
Ha! I suggested this song last week! THANKS for doing this and just in time for Christmas. Here's another song suggestion: Lucky Man by Emerson, Lake and Palmer group.
