Aw, they didn't get to see my favorite anomaly, which is the food cart lady doing a full sprint and running your ass down with a sandwich cart.
That one HAUNTS me, I was in full fear for the boys and Dan's remaining sanity every time they got into that car again. Especially since they were so delighted by the janitor lady's jape. The food cart sprint would've broken their bones and spirits lol

My dog has never reacted to noise from phones/screens, but he jolted and got super tense when Arin said, “Drop it!” as if scolding a dog.
That was hilarious.
I was incredibly relieved when Dan finally realized the food cart anomaly. It was like twelve cars later but still it's the thought that counts.

Honestly, out of all the Exit 8 """"ripoffs"""" (which I don't consider this to be) this one is far and away the best and it improves so much on the formula. An actual story, real consequences for failure, levels of progression, and a switching of the system halfway through to keep you from getting too used to it. It's really well done.

I wouldn't call this a rip off, because while it has the same concept, there is more to this game, as well as both games are more so a part of the spot the difference genere, much like observation duty.
Ripoff would imply this was like exit 9, where it feels like the same game, but rushed and like it was just published to grab money

@resileaf9501 OK, so, I'm assuming you didn't play it, so: SPOILER WARNING BELOW
The train is actually a train to the afterlife. The boy and his sister have died, so the train is taking them to the afterlife. You (the player) did not die. However, you are conscious in the train because you were the one that got injured in that announcement you heard and are unconscious in the living world. Your job in this game is to help the brother and sister stay together so that they can successfully enter the afterlife together but not enter the afterlife yourself. When you stop the train, you notice that the door is open, but all you see is bright light. Walking towards the light, as it is known for, is you walking into the afterlife, thereby killing yourself in the living world.

Not great day to be a gamer: when I got Super Metroid, but got home super late, and had to go straight to bed, and the next day was a school day. Longest day of my academic career.
Its hilarious that the one character that helps you in this game they both immediately are like, Its the devil.

Why does Arin always think that these "Exit 8" style games might give them an anomaly on their first time going through the space? They have to establish a baseline first. Putting in an anomaly right off the bat would make no sense.
i was hopin for three anomalies in particular to happen and only one of them showed up. so honestly, another playthrough for the true endin since there is a bit more game would be nice. maybe a chance at seein more anomalies you didn't see this time around.

Seat 4 was the anomaly because it's pronounced the same way as "death" in Japanese (iirc) and i believe 8 means infinity

My heart dropped when Arin forgot he was meant to go forward on the final cart, but thankfully he caught it in time.
Also the game forgives you for progressing on the very first greens carriage even though theres no anomoly, so they actually had 1 more chance even if they got that wrong.

Chilla's Art putting out bangers every time. Srsly, their style, the subjects they choose, the game dynamics, areall so interesting. I even get attached to characters, like the Sweet Potato Guy in the bathhouse game or the PI (RIP bro) in the closing shift game. I wish they went for some of the other endings so the kid finds his sister. I'm just glad Chilla's Art has so many patrons and can keep making cool, creepy games for all to enjoy.
