Lord Jesus, Let love rain, like sweet mercy from heaven. Let mercy flow like waves and waves flowing richly from the heart of God. May love arise ... may mercy come forth ... may love and mercy bring forth hearts of compassion. Compassion for the lost, compassion for the thirsty, compassion for the hungry, compassion for the poor, compassion for the homeless, compassion for others. Not in just words or deeds done, but from the depths of the heart seeking to give Glory to God through open arms embracing the needs of others. May we look with the heart of God. May we see with his eyes or mercy and compassion and may we do all things to His Glory. For the river of God is love, may it flow richly through us. For the river of God is sweet mercy, may it flow richly through us. For the river of God is compassion, may they see it in our eyes, hear it from our hearts and see it through open arms embracing the needs of others. The prayer was heartfelt and well deserves to be shared and forwarded to loved ones. However, the volume of the background music is just distracting. The music should just be 40% or less of the total or it robs the attention from the content. Production value and artistic concerns should not tramp content.
I am patriotic & I am grateful to the Lord for placing me in this nation, but this is not the nation I “used” to pledge allegiance to. This is not the nation that used to cover their heart with their hand, or bow in silent & respectful prayer & as the national anthem played. This is not the nation that used to bring tears to my eyes whenever Old Glory, our American flag billowed in the breeze as the parade march carried her down the Main Street.
I don’t recognize this America. It seems like something out of a bad science fiction film. It appears like Armageddon, but I’m, we’re all still here. I hear people say GOD BLESS AMERICA. I am quick to correct them & say “No, America Bless God.” Take the computers out of school & put the Bible back in, open every day be it at home, school or work with prayer & if you pray at home, do it again at work and/or school. STOP killing babies & instead of handing out condemns & the abortion pill (Plan B) hand out morals & respect for God & parents in that order. Call me old fashioned & I’ll call myself a Christian & Jesus will one day call me home to live eternally with Him.
What about respect for all humanity. The hatred is what's tearing this country apart right now. What or who is causing this?
