Congrats dude. Stage 2 is what these cars deserve at minimum. My fingers crossed for my oe clutch as well.

Stage 2 was great when I had my GTI. I had a Mk6. I hope to get a mk7.5 one day or above.

@@TheParkingLotMechanic debating on getting the DSG again! My mechatronic/transmission broke so I couldn’t even drive mine after a while

Hey mate love your work, I'm confused though. I have a mk6 gti 2011 2 door. I bought it 6 months ago it had dump pipe with high flow cat and a full exhaust, stock i take. Was told it was stock however after plugging in the laptop it had a mk6 2012 golf r tune in it which is 188kw or 255 horsepower and it does 0-100klm same as 0-60 miles in 5.2 seconds. Mate I was seriously looking at the 034 stage 2 tune but damn now more confused than ever. And for anyone interested I've installed a cold air intake and dogbone mount no change other than more turbo/intake noise

First off, that's slick. Second, I think my limiting factor is tires. I have Indy 500s and they're great cornering but seem to lack off the line grip or just require a million times more heat than I had been attempting to put into them. My old, almost to failure tires did the same times. I've done a 5.8 with Stage 1 and no interior but have yet to try that with stage 2. Are you manual or DSG?

@@TheParkingLotMechanic Mate its DSG 98 octane fuel also running pirreli tyres 235/35/18 they aren't the best for traction that's for sure. It's still a big difference in times though.

That weird whine you get around 3k rpm is your stock DV, if you throw something like a DV+ into it, it removes that whine and adds flutter/woosh noises when letting off throttle. If you want more intake noises, that is :) Also, have you considered adding a boost gauge or something like a PolarFIS PF03 to see your boost on the dash? Congrats on Stage 2, looking forward to seeing more of your vids on Elsa!

I've got the revision D DV, still can cause it? I had an ECS spacer but lost some boost so I am looking towards the DV+ eventually. And I have looked at boost gauges but got a few things up the priority list for the time being. And thank you! Got more in the works so stay tuned!

you'll have fun with stage 2 for now but will get used to that speed very quickly. Go big turbo or hybrid, but u need more suspension work/ better wheels to get that power to the ground.

Oh yeah, already used to it but I still love it! Working on a coilover set asap, though!

Do you have any rev hang issues? And is it worse after the tune?
