It acknowledges the preeminent place of popular song in modern society and its vital role in expressing and deepening the personal and shared values of our time. 👍 to Billy for going right up to Elton’s face to sing along with him. She wasn’t the least bit fearful to be off the stage upon entering either. It appeared Elton was overjoyed when she did that judging from how he acted (as were the rest of audience)!

🩷 👏 After watching ALL the performances in this tribute, it looks like Elton enjoyed Billy’s the most (also Jacob’s ‘Bennie and the Jets’)! He was up dancing, singing, smiling, throughout the entire song/s. Just like me - and I’m almost 70 - lol 🤩 Not that he didn’t show a lot of enthusiasm for the others too.

👎 IMO - NO WAY! Porter performed putting his whole heart and soul into this tribute performance. So much so that even Elton himself looked and acted as though he was thrilled too! At first glance I thought Billy was a woman, and later on I realized it was a man in stilettos 👠 - lol 😆. In any case, I 🩷’d it (and I’m 70ish)! 👏

@@itsjemmabond I just don't. Its a personal choice. I think his voice is too thin and not suited to a rocker like 'the bitch is back'. The performance fell short for me compared to both the original and to other artists on the night.
Appreciate his/her singing but not his/her madness
I hate to be a b-ach, but his voice completely failed at the end, and that's the stone cold truth. He knows he has an acid reflux issue, and it was an unfortunate mistake to try performing this number.
