It invites a new perspective on gameplay, not to go around beating everyone up, but to get away. Fight or Flight type of thing, where you have to choose flight. Although, I understand your view. It's because this is the best first person game ever made. My bro gets nauseated too so he doesnt like it so i understand. but if u didnt get motion sickness, and can get real hang of the fast movements, it's incredible fun. Plus IMO, this is slightly more realistic than, say like, prototype, and ppl sometimes enjoy more realstic stuff.
I don't know why everyone one raves about this game. In my opinion I don;t think it's so great or even taht fun. It is fresh but very repetitive and all the colors and the constant movement kind of nauseate me. I also like games where you have a sense of power like prototype or assassins creed, not feeling helpless and weak like in this one. But that's just my opinion.
nice. some tips on how to improve: jump better at 0:57, go directly left at 2:11, at 2:29 go to the exact opposite side, turn back and jump using the wall to the upper level. at 3:11 use the left wall to jump to the upper level and finally, at 5:46 a wall jump is faster.
Does anybody notice, but in previous videos, when she is in the elevator, when she gets into it, she pushed the button to go down, but she goes up? :P Still dont know if to buy this or not eventhough its cheap...
i got shot and killed on the bit were u run through the part withh all them people with snipers and i fell under the map and now im falling forever! and when she dies after about a minute it restarts again lol
I really enjoyed the part when you are being chased by those Icarus Police Runners (whatever they are called) when I played the game. Its a shame the game wasn't that long and didn't have THAT much replay value afterwards. When they make Mirror's Edge 2, I hope they make more free roaming to add more replay value.

As soon as you enter the room, do NOT jump up and get the guy. Instead, stay on the floor, run straight ahead the the wall on the other side, do a wall jump to the pathway that leads in the door. You'll get shot like once, max.
@sissy3443 It's actually a misconception that people thinks she's punching it open. She's actually ramming into the door with her upper arm and shoulder.
i did that but it still freezes but wen i took a different route i got past the chapter and hav completead the game so i duhno wat was up with the disk
Man, this run is so awesome. You've missed a few spots where you could go really faster but it contains many new tricks I haven't discovered before. ^^
The best is to just go straight on the ground to the left, when you reach that wall there on the left corner, do a straight wallrun, turn 180 and jump.

@nerdishh just practise the side-jump-boost a little bit and maybe the kickglitch and you will be able to do almost everything in his vids ;)
Oh yes there is one i discovered it today when you go to the tutorial chapter and when you finish it you can choose to stay here or continue
No you didn't..... all the speedrun achievements are worth 10 gp, maybe you got the one for no hard landings which is 20 but not the speedruns.
It is- a 360 -_- You didn't see the back button icon or even the 360's achievement pop up? Or maybe even the buttons at the end you can press?

This level is making me hate this otherwise great game, specifically the part at 1:36, gah I swear it's impossible unless your lucky.

god damn I played the warehouse part over 20 times just now and didn't know I could get through it that fucking simple.
everyone's disc freezes there, once you get in the doorway pause it, it'll load and you'll be able to carry on without time loss

Its nowhere near free roam. Its acrobatic, yes, but you are given a path and you follow it to the next cutscene.

If you want to speed up your PC for games, you'll likely have to get more RAM.
