Hey I was wondering if you had any tips as far as workload for students going into first year. So far I haven’t had much of a problem understanding concepts it’s just the workload. I feel like there’s not enough hours in a day to complete everything that I need to. Do you have any tips for efficiency when it comes to reading textbooks especially? Also my course is a modified one where all of the learning is don’t by ourselves form textbooks and videos. Class time is for collaborative work on different things and it’s only half days. But the rest of the time I have to watch videos and read the textbooks and do questions and I feel like there’s way too much.
Most big companies target people with experience, then if its an internship they would want the best of the best. try gunning for contractors that work with apple then so you will get in easily with useful experience. in engineering your school will only factor in the first 3 years then after that its a battle of experience. this is because it is very expensive to invest in a young engineer that might just jump ship later which happens 99% of the time, so they try to at least get somebody who can do the job day 1 without supervision with little loss after the employee leaves for a better opportunity.
What I realise is they really do interview your suitability for the job in every other position except Software Development, they look for specifically geniuses in this area regardless of your expertise

I’d like the recruiters out there to listen to one part, a recruiter at Apple hosted him so he decided to not apply for awhile. That was where you recruiter f’d it up. You hurt the Apple brand, which is what happens when you ghost people and do not treat people right. Recruiters, your actions have consequences. He was approached at a later date to interview at Apple and he said no. If he was ghosted he might have been working at Apple today. Apple possibly lost out on a great hire. Treat everyone as if it was your sister or brother was applying for a job.

Haha it’s all good…that’s just the first step. More acceptances gonna come through
Thank you 🖤✨
Hey I was wondering if you had any tips as far as workload for students going into first year. But the rest of the time I have to watch videos and read the textbooks and do questions and I feel like there’s way too much.
at 1:20, shows you were using waterloo works, back in its glorious day.XD
Thanks so much for the info
Most big companies target people with experience, then if its an internship they would want the best of the best. try gunning for contractors that work with apple then so you will get in easily with useful experience. in engineering your school will only factor in the first 3 years then after that its a battle of experience. this is because it is very expensive to invest in a young engineer that might just jump ship later which happens 99% of the time, so they try to at least get somebody who can do the job day 1 without supervision with little loss after the employee leaves for a better opportunity.
Very good vid!
You are the man
Holly Molly , I really have under prepared for interviews
yes to the bullet point thing, I put "jenkins" on mine, purely of exposure..... he grilled me on that one LOL
What I realise is they really do interview your suitability for the job in every other position except Software Development, they look for specifically geniuses in this area regardless of your expertise
2 hours before my Apple PD engineer interview and I saw this video😂
I hope your interview went well! 🙏
@@TamerShaheen Thank you! I tried my best. And thank you for your video it’s really informative. I like your honesty and hope your channel gets better and better!

Tamer I have just noticed the Palestinian flag pin on your shirt and I'm pleased, salute man you are a legend
this is very good
Hi any tips on how to write a CV? I have heard that you should only have one page for your CV. Furthermore, in your video you ince said too include pictures of all projects you have worked on. I have some models I have made for school on fusion 360 and for personal use as well. Should I include all that if applyin for a mechnical engineering job?
Hello Tamer, great video. Will it be possible to share the technical notes?
I’d like the recruiters out there to listen to one part, a recruiter at Apple hosted him so he decided to not apply for awhile. That was where you recruiter f’d it up. You hurt the Apple brand, which is what happens when you ghost people and do not treat people right.
Recruiters, your actions have consequences. He was approached at a later date to interview at Apple and he said no. If he was ghosted he might have been working at Apple today. Apple possibly lost out on a great hire. Treat everyone as if it was your sister or brother was applying for a job.
For an product design engineer what are the technical skills are we needed for...
Hey, great stuff !! could you please share the notes u have made shown in the video? Thanks!
Happy birthday tomorrow!
Thank you 🙏
Hey man, I'm a grade 12 student trying to get into mechanical engineering at University of Waterloo. I was just wondering, do you know/have any volunteer experiences that can help me develop my application even more ?
There is a vid on dat
Hey bro, I’m a grade 11 student and I was just wondering what grades do you need to get into university for Grade 11 university physics, grade 11 university chemistry and Grade 11 university mathematics to get into mechanical/electrical engineering?
@@abrithans depends on the schools... Harvard, Oxford 4.99+ GPA... COMMUNITY COLLEGES 1.34 GPA
Volunteering always helps in very high quality colleges.. Thier kind of required.... Besides... Helping the community is good for you!!! Teaching kindergartners or Jr high looks good
why go to waterloo when mcgill is miles ahead.
Yo u got me into mech Eng at UW thx bro
Can you explain how may years of work were required for this work? also what type of technical questions were asked ?
Great video! How do you edit them?
What happened to the video where you showed how the interviews went
