A Christmas tradition at homre was mom putting up the holly in a different place everyday. It was always a surprise everyday. Happy stitching 🪡😊☃️

The frog visited me on one project 3 times in the same area. I almost quit but took a deep breath and got passed it, Phew! My dad's favorite tree/bush is Holly and he has them growing all over his yard. I throw my pumpkins in my veggie garden and they break down and this year I got 5 pumpkins on volunteer plants from the year prior. I cook them up and freeze the pulp for soup, pies and muffins. As always I love your projects and you are always showing me something I want to stitch. Have a great week and enjoy the Jingle Ball.
I instantly paused your video to look up the first Cottage Garden Samplings monthly house. I love their songbird series and woodland animals series, and have stitched several, but definitely not all of them. I was really excited when I heard their new monthly patterns would feature houses. I love the first new one. So pretty. Loved seeing all your wips as always. holly
I'm glad RUclips finally completed the upload. I'm currently working on Autumn Quaker by JP, and was disappointed that Mark-up XP hadn't properly counted the stitches for this project, so instead of 1500 to do before the official start of winter, I have 3000 stitches. I have looked at JP's cover shot for this project and have decided to stitch the mushroom as is. It doesn't look as much like the something else I was thinking! Have a holly jolly stitching month!

Laura thanks for another great flosstube. You stitch so many different pieces. I almost always have to pause you a couple of times so I can go search for items you talk about. I'm a long time paper crafter and didn't know that Papertrey Ink sold felt = off I went. I also had to go see the darling birds in teacups. Loved the Jingle Ball, my first retreat!
It really is a good idea to sort thru your stash and old kitted up projects. It’s like going on a treasure hunt! 😂 holly

Ohh I forgot to mention, I think brown bunnies would be a great substitute for the white bunnies. Like a creamed coffee brown. Your stitching colors are awesome for this Quaker

As I had minor surgery on my rt thumb joint.
So I was organizing instead. Many charts found their home in a storage container by designer. Before surgery I organized my DMC into the storage system you have behind you❤❤.
All went well and my thumb and I are ready to stitch again.
I need to find my birthday start that did not get started last December and try to start this week.

Thanks for the video. Yep, hard to believe it's December. 2024 planning well under way. Hoping to have a Holly, Jolly Christmas. I am just not into shopping mode at all. Bought a few things for my grandson, but nothing much yet for the other 2 or my kids. Starting all the things before 2024 so I can do them for WIP Warriors. Yes, I got in and am trying Scattegories. Gonna need a giant chart to keep all the challenges for all the groups straight. Lol. They do motivate me, though, so that is great! Gotta get through December, and cataract surgery in February. Should be fun. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Laura - I really like that darker blue for Fish & Chips, but I'm not sure about the sparkle with the Floche. Such a dilemma.
I had never realized that those might conflict. Maybe I’ll do a little stitch in the corner and see what it’s like. Thanks for your opinion.
I just started Fish & Ships on a piece of Topaz from Fiber on a Whim. Check it out - it's a very bold blue with great saturation of color to show the white stitches. Your opalescent piece is similar. Holly
Maybe you can find a wreath made with holly.
The pumpkins get buried in landfills and then create methane gas that is bad for the environment. I toss them out in my woods and the animals eat them.
What is the carriage and horse called I missed it pls and thanks
I can't think of a pattern just with a carriage and horse. My Black Vintage Sampler does have a horse pulling a carriage on part of it. Hopefully that was the one you meant!
What is jingle ball
It’s an online/virtual stitching retreat. It started Friday evening and finished Sunday night. It’s hosted by Lindy Stitches and features twelve designers. There’s classes, entertainment, meet and greets, shopping, stitching rooms. This is the first time I attended and really liked it.
