This song made me a big fan of BM. Another one was "Onedari Daisakusen". I do not like compilation videos much, but this is not so bad, a gorgeous one. I think the soundtrack is a big fox festival in Osaka, 2017 because at 4:50, Yui has said "まだまだ全然足らへん(madamada zenzen tarahen, It is still not enough!)" in Osaka dialects. That was just before Yui's absence in Hiroshima, so it's a bit painful. Thank you from Japan.

Babymetal are so good at making the audience part of the performance, it's what Moa, Yui and the Avenger does. Su and the Kami band are good enough to be 10/10 by themselves, the two girls raise it to an 11. They are so good, all of them together. This is my favourite song of their many great tracks, the energy explodes off the screen.
There are three major groups that are entwined. Perfume was first, then One OK Rock and then Babymetal. Huge production company. Babymetal was made to be scene, live or recorded. They have such an extreme visual.
Only talented singers and musicians can complete performance such wonderful show. Great job Babymetal and members of kami band.

Babymetal is the youngest act to perform @ the Nippon Budokan and Bands or solo artist need to be invited to perform at the prestigious Nippon Budokan.
"Nippon Budokan (日本武道館, Nippon Budōkan), often shortened to simply Budokan, is an indoor arena located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. Originally built for the inaugural Olympic judo competition in the 1964 Summer Olympics, its name translates as Martial Arts Hall in English. While its primary purpose is to host martial arts contests, the arena has gained additional fame as one of the world's most iconic musical performance venues.
A number of famous rock music acts have played at Budokan. The Beatles were the first rock group to play there in a series of concerts held between June 30 and July 2, 1966. ABBA ended their last tour there. Their final show on March 27, 1980, was the last live concert ABBA performed together. Numerous acts have recorded live albums at Budokan, including Bryan Adams, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Cheap Trick, Dream Theater, Duran Duran, Kiss, Mr. Big, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Journey and Deep Purple".
Background and release:-
Unlike previous tracks released by the band, which had her vocal recorded in segments within the songs, Nakamoto had her lines recorded in a single take several times. She had been told to sing and find a story within the music. By the time she had comprehended the story behind the lyrics, she grew capable of singing the entire song naturally. When Mizuno and Kikuchi listened to her shouting "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" for the first time, they felt as if they had seen another cool side of her, surprised by the vocal power. Additionally, the single introduced the members to the whispering style of singing, with the A-side's "Kiero!" (Disappear!) and the B-side's "Uki Uki Midnight". Kobametal was inspired to use it to contrast traditional death growls.
"Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" was announced as a single on April 27, 2012, with a release date set for July 7, 2012. The single was released in two versions: a standard edition, available via CD and digital formats, and a physical limited Hedo-ban ("Head edition"), which contains a CD and a "neck corset" (actually a cervical collar) for headbanging training.[5] Both editions of the single feature the songs "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" and "Uki Uki ★ Midnight" (ウ・キ・ウ・キ★ミッドナイト, "Exhilarating Midnight"), along with instrumental versions (labeled as "Air Vocal ver."). The standard version contains an enhanced CD with a bonus music video of "Babymetal Death", which can only be played on a computer. The artwork of the standard edition depicts a lyric in the song, specifically when the girl is headbanging with the corset, with the crimson-colored moon in the background, as well as the band name appearing at the top. The limited edition artwork depicts a temple scripture of the "Corset of Legend" with the song title spelled out in the middle.
Before the physical international release of the song, its title was written ambiguously as either "Head Bangya!!" or "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!", the latter of which is officially used in the international re-release of Babymetal and all future releases. The music video uploaded to the band's RUclips channel initially had the former name, though it was switched to the latter in 2015; the version uploaded by Toy's Factory consistently retained the official title.
Tekina Remix:-
During the live performances Legend "D" Su-metal Seitansai at Akasaka Blitz on December 20, 2012, and Legend "1997" Su-metal Seitansai at Makuhari Messe on December 21, 2012, a remix titled "Night of 15 mix." was performed, containing more elements of electronic music. The former took place on Suzuka Nakamoto's actual fifteenth birthday, while the latter was the opening song for the concert. Remixed by DJ'Tekina//Something, the song was later released as part of Social Reform promotional editions of the single "Ijime, Dame, Zettai", and later appeared on DJ'Tekina//Something's remix album Kawa-EDM (2016), re-subtitled as "Tekina Remix".

Great reaction. 'Headbanger' is about a girl going to her first metal concert on her 15th birthday, but it is also about growing up. In Japan compulsory education ends at 15 so it is time to make the first big life decision - go into further education, start a career, something else ...
The girl in the song is realising life will never be the same, she will never be considered as a child again and those first 15 years passed so quickly, so she is etching the memory of this special night into her heart so she will never forget.
I think it is fair to say that after experiencing them playing 'Headbanger' live for yourself that is something you would never forget either - I was lucky enough to have that experience in London early in 2020 - it is something I will never forget.

'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!' is a classic BABYMETAL song, and one of their early hits.
Even though the song is about a fifteen year old girl attending her first heavy concert, Su was only fourteen when the studio version was recorded.
It's not biographical, but it is a song she could relate to. At that age she was on stage, rather than attending concerts. : )
I'm really glad it returned to the setlist in 2019.
It was great to finally hear it on the last US tour.
