Now it's time to expose Lucas singing skills. For disclaimer, i'm not an expert at these singing techniques but I've been singing for years so i know a bit of it and been observing his singing skills so here is the result of my little observation:D I hope you can understand what message that i'm trying to tell you (sorry for the bad explanations tho)!
I'm so touched seeing the support for my first video and the appreciation for Lucas under it that actually motivates me to make more videos. Since i'm still a newbie, I'll be very slow at uploading videos here. But thank you so much everyone for your sweet messages, I'll try my best to make interesting Lucas and WayV(soon) videos!

No doubt, Lucas can be a singer. He has a deep, raspy voice and his falsetto and head voice are stable. He can also add vibrato in his voice when he wants to. He also has an ear when it comes to right pitch. SM can give him a proper song that will suit his tone.

He got the ✨finest✨ visual of all Kpop imo ofc, the TALENT, this boy can rap, dance powerfully regardless of his height, and sing is just that the company doesnt give him chance nor nurtures his singing skills, he definitely has the potential to go even further. And dont forget about his humour and the positive energy that he gives off. If he ever makes a cover of a sad ballad song, id cry listening to it every night.

On his solo they didn’t give him songs right for his pitch though, I mean don’t get me wrong I love his solo songs especially crushing on you and he sounds pretty good on that one but I still feel like it doesn’t match his pitch and that’s really the only singing one where he shows some of his range but I feel lucas could really be a pretty good singer with the right songs cause he’s not a bad singer and his singing voice is so nice

I really like his vocal tone, and when he raps he has a special flow that's unique from the other rappers in NCT/SuperM. Imo the SuperM songs could benefit by including more of the diversity Lucas can offer.

lucas has so much potential i mean he got into the company not knowing much about performing but here he is now a member of multiple groups and performing with some of the most talented vocals in the industry and I feel like if he is given a chance to showcase more of his vocal then I would be sooo happy this boy is just so talented!

Yes the jokes were bad but he has stopped and in fact has been complimenting kun's physique in some interviews after that. Preach. While it is true that Lucas tends to act like he's just a funny guy with a pretty face esp when in NCT as a whole or SuperM, he's actually shown a lot more sides to him when he's in WayV, which tbf is normal since he can communicate better with them. Man can definitely sing and perform really and is defo one of the reasons why I WayV is my fave unit. They're just more or less well rounded and have really good and enjoyable chemistry.

So, when I was just starting to know more about Lucas I searched for him singing as vocal since we usually here him rap in songs then I came across with that clip of him singing Meteor Rain, and I was really in awe of his voice. Like??? I just really hope that they would give him a chance to show more of what he can do.

He's really good in sing-rap lines tbh, esp in WayV songs. I always look forward to his voice in every song 😭 because I think his deep, raspy voice gives the song more flavor? omg i've been dying to see something like this! I feel sad that Lucas has already been so much less talkative/ all over the place since his debut, exactly because there's fan's opinion that he is too much and has no talent. The talks on the internet had definitely got to him, Lucas may seem chaotic and doesn't care about anything but he's so very sensitive in terms of caring about other people.
Just because the company haven't yet given him proportional lines does not mean he CAN NOT sing.
This happened not only to Lucas, but also a lot of idols who still do not have much lines.
Some people will underestimate them but when their times have come, they will be the one surprised. Take Kai for an example.
I think he’s being assigned as a rapper not bcs he can’t sing but bcs there are singers who sing better than him and in a vocal range that sm prefers to be a vocal. He’s clearly not a Tenor like Baekhyun, Ten, and Taemin and he’s vocal range is lower than Kai. With the kind of songs that SM has, he will shine better as rapper where he can showcase his low tones but it doesn’t mean he cant sing. In “With You” for example, he sings at chorus an octave lower than Baekhyun, Ten, Taemin and it sounds so good bcs he gives that low bassline. But not everyone is going to notice this.
You forgot to add the video where he sings the meteor garden ost on a chinese show. He sings well, as in not pitchy and in the right technique, but that song is simply not for him. It doesn’t showcase his voice. Most ballad songs are written for Tenor. That’s why, he can sing it, but it won’t sound that spectacular. He should sing those ballad songs for low range voices, like Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis Presley. Only then he will shine. But I don’t see SM making any sort of that ballad song for him in near future, not a group song, maybe a solo, but maybe 3-5 later just because how blind SM is

Maybe SM put him in rap line because of his deep voice which is I guess best suited in rapping. But that doesn't mean he can't sing nor his vocal is lacking. Take Chanyeol for example, he has such an amazing vocal but SM made him a main rapper. I guess it's just same situation with Lucas since he got deep voice also

Actually from the very first time i've hear Lucas vocal, iam truly fallin love with his vocal, and hope he can get singing part more and chance for cover a song, especially ballad song. His tone voice so cool and different from other singer, that's amazing-deep tone voice!! SM is a home of singers, so, all of the talents in SM can singing, and have different range of vocal, SM not just prepared about visual, but also vocal

My boy Lucas has a lot of potentials. His singing ability is super high and his rapping is outstanding. This man's voice can vary a lot depending on the tones. His voice can go high pitch (with a lot of effort of course) but also can go low (since his natural voice is low). People still call him just a pretty face, but clearly day by day he shows us he is not a pretty face and with effort, we can reach our dreams just like he did. People said he entered not because of his face. OHH NO SWEATY, HE DID NOT. He entered SM to be a model with an effort he got to enter nct and have all the things he has. He ain't just a pretty face, my man Lucas is talented: he can dance despite his height since a lot of people with the height CANT dance, while Lucas is fluent at his moves, has a lot of energy and has a distinctive dance, He can sing despite not knowing how to at the start, he can rap despite also at the started he didn't know, THIS MAN HAD TO LEARN 2 LANGUAGES during his trainee time. Like he had to learn to rap, to dance, to sing and maybe more things and 2 LANGUAGES.
