I said "fuck Spanish" and didn't take the classes in school and now I have a German friend teaching me German as well as me retaining my Spanish and a few Russian words, and learning Japanese and Korean, AND considering learning Chinese (meaning my brain is now trying to sponge all the Chinese it can fit when it hears it) 😭

Saying that they should stick to one language is just rude. They're not switching languages mid sentence to show off or flex their multilingualism, its just the way they speak and its quite a common thing for multilingual people to do.

yangyang's story at 6:30 is me when i ordered coffee in korea and it went so well and i was so proud of myself and then they asked me if i wanted a receipt lmao. i didn't know the word for it so the conversation was like "do you want a receipt?" "can you say it again?" "do you want a receipt??" "what??" **gives up and hands me the receipt anyway**

Totally felt them, being multilingual or having the ability to learn and speak more languages can be a plus pointers at times but when you decided to mix them up into a sentence, literally say goodbye to all the knowledges you once knew. I speak english even though that's not my first language, i know a little bit korean, a little bit chinese, and a little bit germany. So WayV is the only one idol group I can understand even without subs.

Even though my Korean is bad, when they speak Korean I can usually understand it because they speak it more like simply if that makes sense (I guess because some of them are still learning).
WayV is the only group I can understand without subtitles too. My first language is Chinese, I speak English, I know some Cantonese and can generally understand their Korean since most of them speak simply and use simple words and phrases. I'm lucky to have met these lovable boys.
Maybe it would sound weird, but wayv is my inspiration to learn new languages. I'm from argentina, so i speak in spanish, but at the end of last year i got into english depeer than before (than the english classes of the school, yk), and i learned a lot. Then, i started to learn japanese (i need to practice more) and nowadays i'm taking korean classes and i want to learn chinese.
In the past i wanted to take classes of italian, grece and japanese, but when i started to know about nct wayv, i knew i was going to seriously learn languages, unlike before because i was lazy or afraid to go to an academy idk. They're like my role models uwu 💕✨ mostly yangyang and winwin 💗

Istg wayv is the most accurate representation of multilinguals. Like I have been able to speak 3 languages since I was a kid and people think it's super cool (which ngl it kinda is) but it's a lot of me mixing and messing up all 3 of them xD
Knowing more than one language can seem pretty cool and has its perks but it ain't all that glamorous when your brain malfunctions constantly XD
