It's not about the environment, it's about control and power. Rules made by little people with huge egos and enforced by mind dead drones. Thank you for the facts Peter and good luck with the talk.
That power & control is being used to break down every aspect of our society in order to further their " reduced population" agenda. The control is just a means to corrall us for eradication.
"Faceless bureaucrat" = seat shining ideologue who doesn't see the need for farms because they get their food from a supermarket. Believe me, I know these people.
Appreciate your efforts to "keep the bastards honest" Peter, a huge job unfortunately, especially when there are so many reliant on Government largesse so continue to "skew" the requirements.
Are you saying that your regulatory and scientific institutions are captured by the activists to provide the answers they want? It sounds like California where the regulators wanted disastrous impacts from ocean intakes on the fish so they did a "scientific study" that made a model that calculated the impact. Oddball scientists like me, who can "read" math models noticed an implied assumption buried in the math of their model, which assumed that the survival of larval fish is not a function of fish density. This implies that fisheries could be enhanced by increasing the number of larval fish in an area which everyone who knows anything about fisheries knows isn't true. I have watched junk science take over as activists took over the regulators.
Unfortunately science and scientists are often bought and paid for by interest groups and Government grants . But for us laymen know nothings without any credentials attached to our names are not in the running to prove the corruption wrong . Even though we know there is corruption .
I've been to Lady Musgrave island and it's south of Lady Elliot island , Lady Musgrave has a Beautiful reef system . There is a little known Coral reef in Hervey Bay , the locals know of it . On a really low tide i walked amongst it , it is filthy and you would not want to cut your foot on it , because a sewerage pump station at Point Vernon pumps out into it which is disgraceful , even the smell is disgusting .
I visited Lady Elliot island some years ago and swam in its beautiful clear waters. Another visitor pointed out all the bleached coral on the waters edge in dismay. The rangers advised her the island and the reef were very healthy and quite normal. I swam with (young) sharks, turtles and lots of fish. From memory there were only about 12 tourists on the island that day.
Corals can thrive in the least expected places. For example, in Miami Harbor, among acidic mangroves, at the outlet of hot water from power plants, and many other crazy places. They are no less adaptable than other species.

When I was a carpenter my workmate would call us frame erectors because we would stand pre fab frames. Now I'm a farmer I have a far more important job of growing food, so I don't use pesticides I wouldn't want to be associated with the pesticide applicators, that think of themselves as farmers
The Burnett has flowed brown for as long as I can remember, does not mean it should be that way, I remember the bream in the river with ulcers on there flanks from nitrogen run-off
Its not just the bundy region its the entire coast and just because the reef is further out at bundeburg, you still need to be aware the reef is there, why dont you, after a good rain done on your wetsuit, and go out to the reef, and see all the weedy reef materials that are over growing and strangling the reef, just saying. I worked the farms and the reef, you dont need to be using chemicals in your dirt, you need to retain itbetter, just easier to buy chemical. Well it runs into the creeks and that runs into the sea, stop it from running into the creeks and you will be left alone
If its a food bowl its definitely an insecticide bowl isn't it ? Unless all u guys are organic, can't be because thats impossible, u do realise without the reef we're all dead tho right pretty sure its pretty important
Our water resources must be carefully regulated because I've seen really huge problems in the UK where this appears to be deregulated..the results are seriously bad contamination of waterways and seas . Farmers and everyone else must make sure whatever is thrown in the waterways and seas is treated so it's harmless to the water quality
Ripping defenceless innocent fish from the ocean is cruel and wrong. Youve destroyed almost the whole planet already. Of all mammals on earth, only 4% are considered wild- 96% of all mammals are humans and farm animals. Leave them all alone before theres none left. 😮😢😢

Always was, just an excuse for power and control.
That power & control is being used to break down every aspect of our society in order to further their " reduced population" agenda. The control is just a means to corrall us for eradication.
Well put.
We need so many more researchers such as you. Thank you for this information.
Tough job you have Peter trying to keep these bastards honest. Don’t give up, we love & support you 100%.
Especially since they are dishonest brokers from the start.
Peter, you do amazing stuff!!! We need to name the individual bureaucrats who cause this nonsense
"Faceless bureaucrat" = seat shining ideologue who doesn't see the need for farms because they get their food from a supermarket. Believe me, I know these people.
Funny how wind and solar are exempt from that legislation 😅
If you're religious, you must build monuments to your god!
Both leach toxins into the environment.
Inner city Greens and their activist/politicians😢
Good work mate. Keep going.

Maybe my gov should check samples with the PCR test.
It was designed to find anything you are looking for.

Love the well worn Series one manual, my favourite model Landy
You cannot lose. You will not lose.
Bureaucratic bastardry ... and I'm waiting to be "pleasantly surprised" by ChrisFooli doing some good for the primary production people ...
New stupid regulations? Some government back room staff want to justify their oxygen allowance.
And their greasy palms.
Farmers are one of the pillars holding up a country, if it falls over so does the country
Vintage barrel, good stuff.
Trying to solve problems that don't exist with money you don't have will lead to the economy going to hell.
NEMO is OMEN in reverse. Just saying…
Love your work Dr Ridd.

No Whitefish allowed.
Remember - Black marlin Lives Matter ---
If Nemo were a whistleblower he’d be a blowfish
Brilliant video Peter. The whole climate crisis scam is just a “ sooped up” version of this scandal.

Most difficult data research task ever. I hope you included all of the citations correctly on that paper 😆
You surely can't possibly believe that scientific facts have anything to do with political policy????
I'm blinded by the data!
The Burnett has flowed brown for as long as I can remember, does not mean it should be that way, I remember the bream in the river with ulcers on there flanks from nitrogen run-off
Classic Kant. Truth is what you let them get away with saying. In no relation to an event.
WHO is funding the science. Will give you the answers
I see the Bundy was Small Batch, Vintage Barrell. You are obviously a man who knows a good rum.
I wonder what the weir does to all the freshwater upstream of the town.
Nothing to do with pollution; all to do with 'control' ! From Cannnn Berra !
The farmers there must have very low debt and be doing well "they" hate that

didn't you listen when he said the pollution amount was so small they could not measure it?

A vegetarian no doubt. Don't you know that plants have falings as well?
Lol what. Are you being sarcastic. I hope so 😅😂
99 % of all animal species that have lived on this planet have gone extinct, and we are still finding new ones.
