I wouldn't say he can't sing live, but it's true he can't hit all of the 'album notes' perfectly. But it doesn't really matter, because it's quite nice when bands sing things slightly differently live.

I love this band to death and Gerard is great but he's not the best singer on the world, so this just proves it doesn't matter how "bad" your voice may sound but it's about doing what you love no matter what
He can sing but his voice isnt the best when he is moving around on the stage. If you see some version where he isnt moving at all you'll see that he sounds good

Dakota Huth and having a very unique voice, even if it may not necessarily be the best. many bands, this one included, don't sound right without the lead singer. he had a very distinct sound to his voice that sets the band apart from anything else

Strange. I recorded this as they were playing live from the radio and I swear he sounded a bit better than this ;D. Ah well. They have a good stage presence, even if their singer is a little hit and miss with his singing. I do like the audience bits and the middle eight though. =3
I wish I could've seen MCR live back when Revenge was their current album. I feel like some of their current stuff is lacking the same emotion they put into this. It's still good, just different.
