I am stuck on a painting- foundation layers are done, but was not able to feel what my next move is. This really helped get my head unstuck. Thanks!!

Good Day, I am just wondering what do you use to clean your glass palette with after you are done. And Thank you for the tips.

      Hi Robyn!
I use a piece of glass for my palette. I tape the edges with painters tape and put a piece of white paper underneath to better see the colors.
When it comes to cleaning the glass I simply spray it with a water bottle and use an Excel Hand-Held Scraper with Blade to scrape away the dried paint.
The paint comes off fairy easily using this blade from Blick Art Materials. You can find it online here:

Pthalo blue with the red you used would have made you a bright purple. Pthalo with the magenta would have given you a nice purple too.

I saw a video the other day.. and violet is the hardest colour to make.... but this artist used a cool blue and warm red ....and a warm blue and cool red... so try this ...and see which one works...one does an the other dosent...it was interesting...no matter how you try to change the one that does not work..you will not get a vibrant hue... thought it was interesting,,,

This woman obviously doesn't know anything about colour Theory. You cannot just use any red and blue and get purple it just doesn't work that way
