This one is slightly better and newer than others. Brighter too. If not Acer we wouldn't have budget monitors probably. Cheapest but also decent 1440p monitor I can buy.

Okay, then we can use best possible option after DP. Which is HDMI. Generally you will see DP in dedicated Graphics card.
My monitor is just stuck at 60hz on dp cable. Won’t go to 180hz. And 144hz only works on hdmi :(

Go for it, I am using it personally. But I always recommend to check for deadpixels and too much of light bleed. Some bleed is common.

With HDMI cable it supports 144hz...for 180hz go with DP cable
