Great match, both wrestled all the way through, will be interesting seeing them at the end of the season.
As a wrestling coach Matt Ramos is a wrestler that drives coaches crazy. If it’s a big match he’s getting up for it look at both of his Spencer Lee matches from last season but if the lights aren’t bright he wrestles very uninspired. Great match by Camacho.
I was gonna say this. Other commenters talking about how he got lucky against Lee, or that he's overrated are in my opinion luckily landing on an element of truth: that he is perhaps overrated in his mind, such that he doesn't realize he's the kind of wrestler who needs to bring the determination every match - or potentially suffer the consequences of not being talented enough to scramble his way out of trouble for several minutes.
@@dvdlyexactly…..it’s so frustrating because he has the talent but talent isn’t everything.
Personally I disagree with you there. I understand what your saying but Ramos was pretty aggressive and on the attack all match.
Spencer's mom just broke another pair of glasses
rough week for Ramos lol
The Purdue dude lost to a 11th grader also ......When he beat spencer lee that was awesome.....but i don't think it would happen again....and this is no disrespect to the Purdue guy..... i hope it opens up his eye's. cause he really is a good wrestler
Spencer lee somewhere rn breaking shit in his home
Dont think you're right about that SPENCERS getting ready to try to be on the Olympic team!😊

Insane Match
Ramos is a great wrestler. However, he got lucky and caught Lee sleeping. Yes, sometimes in wrestling you create your own luck by working harder than your opponent. Had they wrestled ten more times Lee beats him 10 times. Just my humble opinion.
He didn't catch Lee. He beat him straight up. He's a bad matchup for Lee.
@@PJP-DJPyeah that’s what I was thinking when I saw their first matchup during the regular season. Ramos got the first takedown and then proceeded to almost pin Lee. Lee is one of the best college wrestlers of all time, but Ramos is just a bad matchup for him as you said.
@@PJP-DJP Bullshit. He caught Lee. Calling him a bad matchup for Lee is ridiculous. Only person who matches that description Sebastian Rivera.
@@WorkHarder-id8zd you're an idiot. He didn't catch Lee. He scored more takedowns and more nf points against Lee. This is an objective FACT. Get over it. Ramos is a bad matchup for Spencer Lee. Stop being such a fanboy.
@@WorkHarder-id8zd Personally I think you're both right. He beat Lee straight up and when Lee realized there at the end that he was beat he just gave up. Got lucky to get the pin but absolutely earned the win imo.
FRL listeners know he's been a title contender before this match!!
That’s why I tune in every episode!
Thanks @@Fullsendfilosophy !
It's funny how Ramos is considered the champ for beating Lee while Glory is totally forgotten. Glory was robbed of a championship even tho he won it because he never beat lee
Glory was never robbed? He won the National Title at 125 pounds. Regardless of who he wrestled or did not. He is the National Champ!
@@Matts22177 Way to miss what he said haha
That is why Lee sat out, aside from the injury he had, he didn't want to take away the win by Ramos. I have to agree though, While glory won, Ramos is always talked about due to beating Lee.
Big win for Camacho. Does anyone else think Matt might be struggling with the weight cut? I’m not worried about him and he gets better throughout the year but he doesn’t look at crisp, as strong, and as fast. I don’t want to take anything away from Camacho bc he wrestled beautifully. Ramos just doesn’t look right. Is it the pressure? The weight? An injury? Or have these guys closed the gap? 🙏🏼
I wasn't going to say anything but how is it a gap matt Ramos got lucky beating Spencer Lee acting like he's been dominating I don't recall him being a top level wrestler
@@JoshuaWilliams-zq6kp Anyone that makes it to the NCAA finals, pins a 3xer, and throws Spencer to his back twice in the same year, is a “top level wrestler”.
Way to go NCSU!
About the first stall warning. Wasn't that a scramble position, per the new rules, which should not get a 5 count?
I bet Spencer Lee watches all of M. Ramos’ matches and thinks, “History was stopped by him?!” 😂 I feel bad for Ramos, but it shows if you show up 100% on a great day you can beat anyone
Matt Ramos: Still Ass
Coming To Theaters Near You
This was a much needed laugh after a long day
@@Patricktheluchador i do what i can for the people that need it brother ❤️
Nice job Comacho in a good match with Ramos
Most definitely could be National Champion
I kind of expected Camacho to win, the underdog with the rankings typically wins a lot in wrestling. It’s pretty frequent in high level steaks.
Ramos gets taken down the same way he lost to Marcus blaze
This match was almost as good as Noto vs Figueroa /s
I feel like every time I see Ramos hes getting upset lately lol
Ramos is about to start a losing streak if something doesn't change
Ramos is going backwards lost to high school kid now losing he's not attacking like he did last year he was hungry last year it doesn't seam like it right now I know it's early but great wrestler don't lose to wrestler that's lower ranking just my opinion
It's not about ranking like my coach always said thats just on paper it's about who leaves it on the mat at the end of the day
Ramos has always been too big for his singlet.
Ramos needs to put a ride together will never be a national champ otherwise
Matt Ramos overrated
He had a good tourney that's all. Over rated @#1 and also #3. Give him 10-15 somewhere
He's not overrated he's just a glass cannon
Damn. So Ramos is garbage?
Ramos is so overrated he’s not that good tbh
A couple of losses automatically make him overrated? He beat arguably one of the best college wrestlers to ever compete hes anything but overrated
Remember this name, Marcus blaze.
