@@arsinoe8336 the colours in the tube set are beautiful. I was gifted the set. I think I’m going to do a Gris, and fill the half pans and stick them with putty to the bottom of the palette so I can put other colours in. Then store the tube insert in the card box it came in.
@@suzisandpiper Yes I agree the colors are beautiful. I already owned most of them and I was never use paints fresh out of the tube that's why I stuck to the pan sets. Awesome that you got it as a gift. The whole retro line is so beautiful. Absolutely love the design. I've bought the cochineal red extra, which is included in the tube set. I have a video about the color and the history, if you haven't seen it and also about Payne's grey, because the genuine version was made with cochineal red. (Both in the pigments and color family playlist)
Schmincke half pans are a bit wider than standard half pans, you can fit normal ones down the middle and fill them with tube paint. Winsor and Newton pans and Daler-Rowney definitely fit in the middle.
