I'm a nurse working on a COVID-19 unit, and so few patients have such an amazing recovery, so hearing her tell her story brought me to tears. She's a very lucky lady, and I couldn't possibly be happier for her!👍

@CRICKET MICKEY never smoking does NOT guarantee you won't get lung cancer. Neither seat belts, nor air bags nor anti-lock brakes nor never drinking doesn't mean you won't get in a car crash. Proper mask usage is such an easy way to reduce transmission it is insane not to. Yes, social distancing is more important if you can do it. Nothing is 100%. Every sane person does many things a day because they reduce risk, none to zero.
For changing their minds, we had hoped asymptomatic people weren't spreading it then confirmed they were. They were also concerned selfish jerks would buy up all the masks and our health care workers would get infected and die at huge rates, instead of the ~1000 we lost last time I checked. The anti-mask people would be funny if the symptoms were loud farts, instead of enough deaths to fill a large stadium with a corpse in every seat and still spreading rapidly.

The supply was not available for general population in the early days. It is called a novel virus because it's never been seen..!

That’s how my husband is. There is no reasoning with him. No matter how much logic I try to use to make him understand, he just tells me that my eyes are closed to ‘reality’ and I need to think outside of the box. First, he wanted to know why they never gave personal information of the people who have died from it. Then, they started giving information. Then, he said how you never hear from the family to confirm the information is true. Then, they started to interview affected families. Then, all of these people were actors, why didn’t we know anyone who was infected? Then, people in my DC were testing positive. After I told him that actual friends of mine tested positive, he said that the tests are fake. He says if he went to the hospital with the flu right now, they would say he had COVID. No matter how many facts, no matter how many interviews, people who don’t want to see the truth, won’t.
We need to understand this long-term. I feel like trump took advantage of this and greatly increased it as did his supporters, but this is all flat-earth insanity.

You are right! I personally know a person who died just this week, and many members in her family who are also infected. I know people in my church who are in the hospital with covid-19, many others who tested positive, do not say this is a hoax, it is not! My son is an ICU nurse who tells me of the sick covid patients he has seen die, his girlfriend, a doctor in ICU has also seen more than their fair share in Houston! This is real and these people who just want to spew lies and hate just need to be glad if they haven’t been affected or their loved ones! Unbelievable!

So she has Neuromyletis Optica(NMO) a very intense autoimmune disease that is worse that Multiple Sclerosis. That added to her Covid complications and the cytokine storm killed her lungs. As someone with NMO I really feel for her. God bless her.

@Keyser Soze no its not. You need to do your research. People with NMO have high levels of IL6 and cd20 proteins in their blood. This causes constant inflammation and cytokin storms which target their optic nerves and spinal cord even on a regular day. On onset of virus the immune system which is already at a hightened state does double the damage to the lungs than normal people. Lupus patients have slower immune system reactions than NMO. NMO strikes as multiple attacks. It's sad to see people dismiss her after all she has gone through.

Since I had the virus I have an extremely painful lump that came up in my left cheek, I didn't like my doctors eyes when he felt it. They saw the same in my lungs. Lungs are good, it was a fluid patch from the virus but the lump, won't know until Tuesday.. Here's what's bad, a woman here in Ft. Lauderdale lost both of her kids 11 days apart from this virus and they were both Asymptomatic until they just stopped breathing.. Test results didn't come back in time and the daughter was the second to die, no comorbidity.. Now we just had a 5yr old die and a 9yr.. It's just breaking my heart.. Please stay safe love! ❤️

So True...The Corona-virus is not a hoax...Corona-viruses have been circulating the U.S. (and the globe) for at least 3 decades...There's at least 1500 Corona-virus strains according to the CDC website...so it's not a surprise that by the year 2020 that most Americans would test positive and carry a strain without knowing it...I see CNN after all this time is really beefing up their strut and found an actual COV patient they can validate as a COV severe case...if by chance Ms. Ramirez is from South America..she probably does not have immunities even against the common flu...That's a proven FACT.. that many people from South America will get very sick over the common flu...so the COV would be just as similar and/or deadly..."My sincere hope for Ms. Ramirez's recovery"...

If you survive the operation, you will need to be on anti rejection meds the rest of your life. They are very strong. I visited a friend who's roommate had a heart lung trans from years of smoking. I had a lot of back pain back then. Slipped discs...we went out that night, and he gave me one of his "muscle relaxers". I had a very hard time not using my burrito as a head pillow. I was Mr. Gone.
