Came for the Infernum stuff, will stay for the rest of Pinpin. This song is beautiful! All of the SAR, SBD and SoC motifs fit in like a glove. Don't get me started on the rest of the song, it is by far the best piece you've made up until now! I only now got the notification of the community post but at least it was exactly 18 hours after it was posted so I could come immediately to listen to this absolutely fire song! This truly does sound like the culmination of a journey leading up to an important moment, not necessarily the end of it but it isn't to far away now. I can also see why you said this was kinda like the good ending and SoC being the bad one, both have that similar feel of grandeur except this one sounds much more positive. Overall great work as always!
There's way to many potential timestamps to note my feelings and just the sheer IMAGERY this planted into my writing brain, so to just convey the raw emotion I felt... It's just time to write plainly. Rain covered an open field, one warrior stood up to beings of falsehood... disgusted by their actions she fought: the rain being coated with sweat and blood. "Acting like you guys know gratitude... When I've spent my entire life trying to repay all the gratitude I've received...." She spit up some blood as the false deities mocked her pathetic attempts with silence. "All it does... Is reveal your falsehood." As she muttered that, a spear pierced her shoulder. The creatures revealed their demonic nature as she fell on the ground struggling to catch breath. "I.." blood coughed up as her wound dripped blood down her arm "C-Can't..." Her memories tried to choke her, all of the negative memories rushing to her at once... But this only drove her harder as they finally spoke. "Give up... Mortal." The demonic tone ringed in her ears as their influence caused her darkest hours to resurface, as they stood over her. But, making her relieve these feelings... This feeling of abandonment, of being alone... The feeling of the end. Despite it, she stood up and brandished her blade. "My memories... They are MINE alone... And *I* choose whether they hinder or strengthen me!" Sunset colored specks of fire swirled around her: green hair and flowers reacting to her anger... Her focus as they shifted to a gradient red and orange. "And I know that after the sky after rain is beautiful, filled with my friends... *MY* memories... Memories of gratitude..." Tears flowed off her face as she growled at the demons as the rain started to stop... "And the sunset will always remind people to stand against vile creatures like you!" The sunset revealed itself behind her as she smiled lightly, vigor returned. " *Gratinith, awaken.* " The specks of fire ignited around her, surrounding her in an aura of flame burning bright with passion mimicking the colors of the sunset. "I am Atalya, and I choose to *fight!* " She took a deep breath and charged the creatures, tears still flowing past her fast as she rushed forward. "Blades of grass..." Every memory guided her blade, striking in unpredictable ways. "Dance of the sunset!" She yelled out as her blade found itself inside the neck of one of the creatures. " *Memories unite us all, and make sure we never fight alone.* " And right as she said that, her friends appeared behind her... Ready to set the sky ablaze. She turned back hearing the grass rustle around their feet and smirked. "And you will drag me down no longer!" ...Whew, that's quite the bit, but that's just how powerful this song is.
The funniest part about this was that I didn’t notice it was sung in Thai until it showed up on screen which first off I wasn’t aware the vocal generators could even speak/sing Thai and secondly It fits so well to not be able to understand the lyrics just by virtue of the fact that this kind of music kind of lends itself to background gibberish chanting (even if the chanting itself isn’t exactly gibberish here it still felt like that to me as a person who can’t speak a word of Thai)
I like the callback to the songs "Sky After Rain" and "Guiding Light" that you made earlier (those were both songs that got me into this channel). Parts of the lyrics are impactful (to me at least). This song isn't gonna stop replaying in my head anytime soon :)
