For me it's just too much. A materialistic society is not a healthy society. I used to live in Russia and I had anxiety and a feeling of constantly being in a rat race to get better clothes, make money and buy more clothes cuz people DO judge you a lot by your looks. Now I live in Mexico and nobody gives a daym about your clothes. All my stress is gone and I started to LIVE.
I concur. Measure your society by the living standards of the lowest denominator, not the elite. In fact this brings sickness in my stomach. Think about all the Ukrainian refugees, the Romani who are shunned, the Jews who are segregated and exiled. Think about that and then think about this.
Not everyone is into fashion in Paris. I visited Paris many times and most people just dress very casually. Obviously Torres did some screening for his interviewees
from my experience, Parisians usually won't talk to you in English, even if they can speak fluent English, but the girl in pink speaks perfect English...
