Ive been on a Knocked Loose deep dive, they just keep getting better and better, but even as early as pop culture and laugh tracks you could see how great they were gonna be, and since a different shade of blue theyve become legends imo, so excited for the new album on the month of my 30th birthday and then get to see them live the next month, best gift!
I never listened to knocked loose before as it was “outside” of my music taste (so I thought), but I stumbled upon this song and now KL is all I’ve been listening to 😅❤
I have to agree on the vocals. I am not the biggest fan of the older stuff, but since their last double release and including the other vocalists here and there I really start to enjoy their music. Hope this song is a good glance into what the album will be like.
Can not recommend “fallingwithscissors” new EP “the birth and death of an angel” enough. It is by far the best drop in metalcore in a long while. It hits hard af. It goes quite unnoticed which is a shame since it would end up on most people’s EP of the year if more people got the chance to listen to it. It is pure perfection
You really need to react to some more bands from your part of the world. I’ve seen a couple songs from Australian bands that the whole world knows about but how about letting the rest of the world in on some hidden gems from Australia and New Zealand? Crooked Royals would be a good start. I visited Australia and New Zealand several times in the late 80s and early 90s and became familiar with a few thrash bands like Sadistik Exekution, Nothing Sacred, Mortification and Mortal Sin. After them, I lost track of that scene until I Killed the Prom Queen, Parkway Drive and Universum started getting known outside of the South Pacific. By the way, you guys are doing great and are quite fun to watch.

The increased inclusion of different vocals is why these last three songs from them have been much easier for me to love.
