Great great video Chris. I think "oddball" is an endearing term!! I love it! One card I'm so proud of is my '52 Wheaties Otto Graham. Some day it will be in an SGC tux !! 😁
I love the 1961 Golden Press set. Even the Ruth, Gehrig, Dimaggio cards are not prohibitively expensive. I have 15 of the biggest cards from the 33-card set and I don't need to complete it. I wish there was a Ted Williams card, not to mention Mantle, Mays, Aaron, Clemente, Jackie, but you had to be in the HOF to be in the set, which those guys were not as of 1961. Other non "generic" sets I collect (or cherry-pick, I should say) are 1950 Callahan, 1959 Fleer Ted Williams, 1960 Fleer, 1961 Fleer. There are so many more that I have only dipped my toe into, such as 1948 Swell Sport, 1951 Berk Ross and 1954 Red Heart. After your video today I want to get a couple 1952 Wheaties. I really like that Feller portrait.
Hi Chris - I am in the St Louis area helping out my elderly father again. I’ve got a bit of free time Saturday and was thinking of hitting a card shop or two. Would you have any recommendations? Thanks
Great pickups, Chris. I absolutely love the wheaties set. I have the Phil Rizzuto portrait that I got from Rick. I would absolutely love to add a Ted Williams or Bob Feller to my collection as well. I also use the term Oddball, i don't know when everybody got so sensitive about words. Lol
Thanks for the kind words, my friend! Man, the Wheaties cards look great in a tux!
Love the Wheaties cards! Always appreciate your honesty Chris. Still have to get the Fellers. Thanks my mam

Those Bob Feller cards really stood out to me! Man, those thinks look so sweet.
Great finds Chris. As an “oddball” collector, I appreciate the Wheaties cards. I was with Mangini at the EC National when he picked a few raw ones up.
Awesome cards, as always, Chris! Love the Wheaties cards!
I love your viewpoint Chris! You are right, those wheats cards look good together. Can’t wait to see them when you get the others!
Beautiful Wheaties cards Chris. I will be going down the Wheaties rabbit hole soon. I love the looks of these cards.
Love the Wheaties cards Chris! Great discussion on collecting.

Like oddball cards. I also like to obscure cards that nobody else wants. I always say collect what you connect with!

Great cards Chris. I also really like the 60s Post & Jello cards. Kinda same type of "odball cards"

The 1952 wheaties is one of my favorite sets and the early 1952-54 redman is a close second
Great thoughts and love those wheaties cards Chris 🤩👊
Gave a video like. I enjoy how you collect, Chris. Hope you have a great weekend
Hey Chris I think Rick has a Rizzuto portrait that he was selling a few months ago. He may still have it.
Some great cards Chris. There is more out there than Topps and Bowman.
Awesome cards and a great video
How very hip of you Christopher.
