The Pretenders should just buy out the first 2 rows. If they are kicking people out of the first few rows after tickets have been purchased, that's just wrong.

I think we are headed in that direction. Especially now if Alex is going to be digging in the vaults. Archival live albums are big business so it would make sense. They have just done it with the 1991 live Sammy Hagar album so hopefully more are coming.

Love Brandon and the music round up. I watch every week. I'm a big hard rock heavy metal guy. I have to mention the new release album by rock blues singer Beth Hart. VERY underrated singer-songwriter who worked with Slash and Joe Bonamassa she's just amazing I can't say enough about her whole catalog 3:40 g

I’ve noticed the Stranger album behind you! Greg Billings just did a benefit show for hurricane victims here. He doesn’t care if same people in front row. One of the record stores I go to was flooded, was devastating seeing all the ruined merchandise. On happier news I saw that Savatage is playing at Brazil’s Monsters of Rock festival next year. Zac Stevens on vocals not Jon Oliva. Not holding my breath for a new Savatage album if it ever even happens. Have a good weekend.

Always enjoy your content, Brendon. Especially that you are able to separate opinions from the artist (i.e. you still being a fan of Nugent even if you don't agree with him on politics). As a Conservative Christian you can imagine how it is for folks like me - most artists (well, except for Nugent) makes it well known they hate me and everything I stand for. Hell, Pink literally told Conservatives to not buy her album (not that anyone is anyway). Anytime me and my wife go to concerts we always have to be prepared to be preached to several times during a concert. Not fun - but we just accept it now as the norm. :(

The thing with ALEX VH he hasn't been on anything in almost 13 years . I cant put much in anything in ALEX says mainly because of his shots at Sammy Hagar recently. The Pretenders should do the Billy Joel thing, don't sell them, and give them out to whom you wish or make them available. I get the whole "scalping" or "the rich people" buying the front and chilling on their phone while you play, I get that and I have been near morons on their phone the whole show, and I have had artists say "Why did you come here, to make a call, isn't it quieter outside" I get that, musicians deal with BS that no other creative types deal with, I mean think of an opening act who deals with talking and this and that, do actors on a broadway stage deal with that? please, they would be ridiculed by the person on stage. I doubt the Pretenders are ejected people, they have no right, that is up to a venue, the pretenders have no say who is in their audience if the seats are for sale.

@@BrendonSnyder a further note he is doing a live Talk Shop on November 20 to I guess announce tracks on it, but preorders are open now, one cd or 2 Lp vinyl or super deluxe with the hard cover book which to me is a must as a fan more of this era than the prior one which was great but his output the last 25 years is stellar

I hear you on musicians and political views, but it seems like it's all through the whole industry. To Ted's credit, though, he hasn't (to my knowledge anyway) denied any of his fans. I remember when Bryan Adams and a few others got to where they started canceling whole shows in certain states because of differing political opinions. At least the Pretenders aren't going that far. I don't know. Maybe I'm just old and crotchety. I really dig this channel, BTW.

@@by-fate-but-by-choice Bryan Adams went way over the line on that! I don't think it should be accepted that left leaning artists (and celebrities in general) get a pass. If they truely believed in diversity and inclusivity they wouldn't allow the shunnning and shaming that goes on against conservatives!

I couln't agree with you more about losing respect for artists when they lift the veil and attempt to impose their ideas on their fans. Ted Nugent is too brash and cartoonish when it comes to his political views and it has lost him quite a bit of fans. Bruce Springsteen is the one that comes to mind for me. He's been very outspoken and condecending towards conservative leaning fans and I think he should be recieving some of the same kind of backlash as Ted. I'm a father of four and have three grandchildren. You look at the world differently when you have children to look out for. You also have the hindsight to see where you could have done things differently along the way. You almost have a responsibility to be more conservative in that role and Bruce's remarks turned me off to him completely. I got rid of all of his albums and I change the channel if he comes on my radio or television. I lost all respect for him. I think we all have things we believe or enjoy for one reason or another and vocally condemning someone (especially your fans) without understanding how they got to that decision is callous and disrespectful.
