I love that you can see that Scarra used to play League professionally. Compared to the other newbies, he has a strong understanding of how he learns, when he just needs to grind, and doesn't reach too hard for advanced skills before he's got a solid grasp of his basics.
happy to see this honestly, I like when bigger or more mainstream/mainstay streaming groups dip their toes in things like this, anything to bring in some viewership for neph or other fighters is a win
@@thecclan2 Sajam has the vod for his main stream on YT. If you're looking for Team Neph footage specifically, I'm sure neph had good twitch vod on twitch, as do his other team members. The only person I watch regularly on that squad is Lily, so I only know for sure that her TwitchVod was also uploaded to YT on LilyPichuVODs.
@@thecclan2 sajam posted the vod for day 1, though to see all of team nephew's matches you'll have to look up any of the team's vods since sajam didn't stream every team's matches. pretty sure lily's vod is up on youtube
@@thecclan2 dunno if you're still looking, the edited VOD of each day is usually uploaded a day or two after on Sajam's channel. You can also look for the player POVs but then it's up to each streamer when and where they post.
League players, especially mid laners, know more fighting game fundamentals than they realize. Theyre constantly playing footsies and whiff punishing and forcing bad situations for people. And they understand the concept of one character having priority in a matchup and 'setting the pace'. Always an interesting crossover. I find FPS players have the hardest time adapting their skillset.
seeing scarra strugle bring me back how i was learning manon as someone new to fgcs, also that bnb combo he wants to do is bad if you dont know how to, should just use the ex launcher into spin, carry to corner
Can relate so much at; ''Do the combo'' ''But I dunno how to do these, I do it too fast or too slow''. For non FG adept, this is very hard to grasp I feel, you see everyone casually do it in 2 attempts when they pickup character and all that. Meanwhile, we can't do 3 things in a row. Like they will say grind the combo, but sometime alone, you can't but the finger on why it doesn't come out. Anyhow...teddy bear method works wonder with this I feel.
He was most recently playing Tekken where, as PhiDX said to Brine, inputs are super dirty. You basically just mash through your combos in Tekken and timing is super lenient in most cases. It's possible he's just built some habits that don't really work well in SF.

I know neph was feeling himself yesterday showing off for the students lmao. well done on day 1, everyone played out of their minds
Full time neph is definitely hitting different. He was popping in those coaches matches.
Does sajam have footage posted somewhere?

Scarra: I feel like..(guilty)
Nephew: nah that's FAIR
Teaching an ex league pro street fighter while Nina’s Tekken 3 theme plays is peak morning entertainment.
scarra: this is hard
nephew: actually no
Every Sajam Slam player in a nutshell.
I love that you just brought up the google image search for the picture of him
It’s like when non-fgc content creators use JWong’s RedBull Kumite picture for him😂
I laughed a lot about how Scarra was walking forward just by pressing buttons and Nephew was instinctively fixing the spacing. 😅
As a long time league ex-addict I never thought I'd see Scarra playing street fighter 😂
same here. life is so much better without league XD

That ending I’m dead 😂😂 Scarra thought he was training alone
nephew is actually a good coach lol
This is awesome!
