  • Back in October 2018, we were fortunate enough to interview Bjorn Bjorholm from Eisei-En Bonsai. He had just traveled down to SoCal after headlining the GSBF Convention in Sacramento. We were ecstatic he had some free time on his hands for a quick interview! You’ll find some very revealing answers about himself, bonsai in America and (at the time) his new bonsai nursery Eisei-en. Enjoy the show!
We want to say a special thanks to Bjorn for the interview, Chikugo-En Nursery for hosting and Dai Ichi Bonsai Kai for coordinating everything!

This backstory is an awesome showcase of how everything just perfectly falls into place with time and patience just like the art of working on bonsai.

"You are not saving the world, you're just playing with little trees". Joy, not ego.

Thanks for putting together the great video! Just a note, I mis-spoke at the end...doitashimashite means you're welcome, not thank you. In any case, thanks for making it happen!

Bjorn....I love your videos, but at the end of my life, I will have only one thing left...my language, stop misusing it.....there is no such word as directionality........
