Have never listened to any of the EDX IEMs before, and unfortunately there is not much out there related to the frequency response graph for the EDX Pro X besides the one KZ has on their page. Judging from that, the Pro X should sound more balanced, so you basically get a more present midrange where instruments and vocals sound fuller and more real while still being bassy. Also should sound smoother all around. Bass should sound cleaner on the Pro X.
Cant speak for all of course but in general compared to more popular consumer brand: Definently cleaner sound. Better bass and instrument clarity, not as muddy as most consumer tuned Earbuds.

Aber wenn ich mir den Frequenzgraphen ansehe, haben die ZS 10 Pro X etwas mehr Höhen und etwas mehr Bass. Was findest du an ihnen besser als an den EDX Pro X? Ich habe ja mehere EDX Pro X bestellt für nem paar Freunden und beim Nürburgring habe ich gearbeitet mit Autovermietung, Strecke Fahren und Trainieren und Softwareoptimierung des Kraftfahrzeuges 🥰, nächsten Monat bin ich wieder da für nem paar Tagen. Sag mal wenn du ne beifahrerrunde drehen möchtest ;)
which kz iem would u recommend for someone on a budget between the zst series, zsn series and the edx series? hopefully one that has great instrument separation and imaging, natural sounding with good bass for listening to music.
Right now I can recommend the new EDX Pro X and the new ZSN Pro 2 from KZ. Both are better tuned than their earlier releases with a well balanced tuning. They are quite similar. Good and clean bass with an okay amount for most stuff and clean mids. The EDX Pro X seems to be a bit more in your face with vocals and instruments while the ZSN Pro 2 has a bit more top and sounds a bit brighter sometimes (nothing bad though, bit sharp here and there) and maybe a bit more transparent. The ZSN Pro 2 has a better build if thats important to you. Both are really comfortable and quite good in the technical departement when looking at the cheap price.
Never listened to any Airpods, but looking at the graphs the EDX Pro X should have more bass (still pretty clean though) and sound "thicker". Also more energy with instruments and vocals and a bit brighter.

Also it has lots of improvements in technicalities like micro details, sound stage, sound separation... Also treble is reduced a lot. So my personal rating on Edx Pro X = 9.5/10 On Edx Pro = 5/10
Thanks for your opinion! Glad you like these. Yeah KZ is really on a roll right now. I have the ZSN Pro 2 and the ZS10 Pro 2 (these stupid names haha, I always get confused between all the variants) and they sound pretty good (both have a similar tuning). Like more refined versions of the EDX Pro X.
Just to let you know *current* EDX Pro comes with the NEW Super Linear driver. That is also the case for EDX Pro X - can clearly compare them side by side. *Previous* version of EDX Pro used NOT Super Linear driver. i can confirm that both although sounded pretty similar, the difference are noticeable. One is not necessarily better than the other. Most of the time, i prefer the previous version. However when a melody can come across harsh, that is when i prefer the one with Super Linear driver.
You want good quality bass and better midrange/treble? EDX Pro X. You just want "more" bass? EDX Pro. Pro X is a nice IEM for how cheap it is. Castor Black is too, though. Especially if you want lots of bass. No reason to got for the normal Pro.
@@therivertothesea TBH, I don't have any technical knowledge. KZ claims that, EDX Pro has 10mm Dual Magnetic Circuit Dynamic Driver and EDX Pro X has 10mm Super-Linear Dynamic Driver. So, which one will sound good as clean and original as possible?. That's my doubt!. 😅
I do not think so. The EDX Pro X does not need much power to drive, and as long as you do not have a bad source that colours the sound in a negative way you should be fine running it in from your phone/computer. I do recommend getting at least a cheap dongle because it works more reliable with IEMs than some onboard dacs that are build in some computers. Something like the 7hz 71 works really nice. Non-detachable cable though, so do not bend it.
I do not have that one here but I think the Simgot EW200 is the best pick for clarity and separation in this price range (below 50). Its pretty similar to the 500LM which is also really good in that regard. But its a kinda bright tuning, so can be a bit fatiguing after a while. If you wanna pay less than that than the new KZ ZSN 2 is also pretty nice. Otherwise just go with the EDX Pro X.

Never heard the EDC Pro, sorry. I do think the EDX Pro X is great for being so cheap, but the EDC gets good reviews too. EDC Pro seems to be a bit more laid back than the EDX Pro X.
EDx Pro for under $3 right now is a steal It's really a great set even if it was more $. Rosefinch is amazing too. Darker, no fatigue. Sounds like this set has less bass than OF

Pro X should be better if you want a more natural sound. Still bassy, but less than the original and bettter with vocals/instruments.
