Great video that. It's great fun making stuff especially when it works well. Of course you always get some idiots that will dislike for no good reason.
You can use small ( up to about 2-4kw) 3 phase motor in 2 phase line if you have big capacitor conected to engine. I have italian 2ps compressor (three phase motor+capacitor) conected to 2 phase line.
optym82 optym82 can u plz send me the dimensions of this mill to my email Jody88severio@gmail.com plz my dad is wanting to make one for corn to make chicken feed
thank you very much. you have inspired me. unfortunately you didnt show how you fixed the blades to the rotor. are they fixed on rotor or do they swivel loose.
looks heavy. reminds me of a 8 track cassette holder I made in metal shop in the 70s (when metal shop was normal for kids to take in high school,) it was a square sheet metal carousel that held 7 or 8 stacked tapes on each of the 4 sides. even though sheet metal was so cheap then, it was a costly design, and weighing about 40 lbs or more. it was difficult to control the warping of the 8 or 9 sheet shelving the little plastic cases holding the film of rock and roll music. I thought it was cool. unpainted, it got rusty fast. took me the whole semester to make and i got a b grade on it and a b in class from it. they knew better than to suggest speeding up the production on it. I learned something from it- speeds, and the only 2 I have are "slow" and "stop."
Greetings sir, I always see your video of your corn mill but I would like to know if you could indicate the measures to see if I make one equal, greetings from Venezuela, thank you.
are...1 phase engine is allowed of this? because.. ...our line of current n our house..is olny aplicable for 1 phase...because there is no trasformer...not like the other big shop....they have thier own...transformer..in order that they can..use..high..power motors.....
@@optym82 Oh, just on a side note, so when chicken eat the full unbroken grains they don't become digested? Funny because I once saw some maize grains in human dung. LMAO
Yes,avoid metal parts in contact with grinding surfaces.Use stone for grinding .n wooden hopper will work better.no metal rust or paint particles in flour.Stone is mostly used everywhere as it causes less harm. (Particles of stone will cause less harm than metal particles in digestive system of man or animal too.)But do not dis hearten ur efforts r appreciated!!!!!. If possible, improve if u feel suggestion is ok.Thnks for sharing.!!!!!

the one and only good video of how to make a Grain Mill !!! Nice job mate !
This reminds me so much as a 'meat' (user) video. Kinda creepy but awesome.
I would also like to see how it spins inside. Great video.

Thanks for sharing your mill greetings from Venezuela

hey that looks like it worked out pretty dang good.. nice video thanks...
Thank you very much !
Vielen Dank.
Very useful.
Nice job! Is it a good ideea to sharpen the blade?
Thanks. Good question...
I think that a blunt blade would smash the grain better than a sharp blade. It would create finer flour.
it is possible to have the dimension ? of the machine and the steel you use
The power of motor please!!!!please!!! Please!!! Thank you from Rumenia!!!
1400w 2700rpm do not use slower motor.
Thanks for the reply!
very well done !
you are the best
....tnx....so great...nice

I guess the speed needs to be fairly high - 3000 rpm or more.

tight fitting + screw glue.
Nice build! What HP and rpm of motor? Thanks!

Brilliant concept bru but ain't you supposed to be using stainless steel?

Excellent job!!
exellent !!

Brilliant project, but don't show anybody your welding!
How many HP motor should be used
Muito bom....
thanks you
very nice invention, can you give us the complete details about that vedio, for us to help us guide.pls tnx

Hi. I wanna know what kind of motor did you use and its Horsepower and its rpm?
Rpm 2800 not less because it dont work good. Power 1Kw or more, 3phase brushless. 1Kw can mill 50kg of grain and engine is not to hot.
@@optym82 Thank you so much
@@optym82 how long did it take you for crushing 50 kg? 1 hour?
@@shae531Up to one hour.Maize faster ,hard wheat slower.

YouT can use small 3phase engine on 2phase line with big capacitor !
@@optym82 engine? LOL.
Produçao muito pouca ,
Pelo que esse progeto que foi feito dava ser mais rápido au quebrar o milho
How many hp do you use ing that sir?
2800 RPM !!! And 1200 Watts or more . High RPM is important to. IT can mill 50kg of grain with no stop.
