This reminds me so much as a 'meat' (user) video. Kinda creepy but awesome.
I would also like to see how it spins inside. Great video.

I think that a blunt blade would smash the grain better than a sharp blade. It would create finer flour.

You can use small ( up to about 2-4kw) 3 phase motor in 2 phase line if you have big capacitor conected to engine. I have italian 2ps compressor (three phase motor+capacitor) conected to 2 phase line.

looks heavy. reminds me of a 8 track cassette holder I made in metal shop in the 70s (when metal shop was normal for kids to take in high school,) it was a square sheet metal carousel that held 7 or 8 stacked tapes on each of the 4 sides. even though sheet metal was so cheap then, it was a costly design, and weighing about 40 lbs or more. it was difficult to control the warping of the 8 or 9 sheet shelving the little plastic cases holding the film of rock and roll music. I thought it was cool. unpainted, it got rusty fast. took me the whole semester to make and i got a b grade on it and a b in class from it. they knew better than to suggest speeding up the production on it. I learned something from it- speeds, and the only 2 I have are "slow" and "stop."

Yes,avoid metal parts in contact with grinding surfaces.Use stone for grinding .n wooden hopper will work better.no metal rust or paint particles in flour.Stone is mostly used everywhere as it causes less harm. (Particles of stone will cause less harm than metal particles in digestive system of man or animal too.)But do not dis hearten ur efforts r appreciated!!!!!. If possible, improve if u feel suggestion is ok.Thnks for sharing.!!!!!
