Thanks! I’ve seen some people do delicate cuts to not waste any and I seen pretty much pros from filleting many fish in a short amount of time and both so clean. Casey cuts them so fast and so clean with almost to none waste of meat. I haven’t try the collars yet nor cooking the lingcod whole like some people. Man I love living so close to Yosemite, easy half day trips sometimes.
Oh yeah still lots of meat and skin to eat off the carcass but I’m saving it for crab bait. The fish carcass works better for bait than chicken. It sucks to waste good food (fish heads) but it produces more crabs. Stripers everything gets eaten haha head, bone into soup.

Lingcod are like ocean bowfin kinda
I had to research bowfin, that’s a cool looking fish more like a snakehead but yeah all body and mouth full with teeth.
