    Nic vid, I’m at the power wheelie stage, still scared to get it higher to balance point I’ve got to it a couple times but I get scared and hit the brake, just taking it slow practicing each time I ride, one thing that helped me was 1) focus on letting the bike do the work don’t jerk or pull it the MX4 has more than enough power to get it up, 2) leaning back and trusting the bike, in the start I would always lean forward as the front end came up but it would drop the bike down instantly, I’m no expert but if anyone is a beginner at this like me just some tips I learned

      appreciate that! Keep at it, and another tip I forgot to include in this is looking upwards toward the horizon line rather than directly at the front wheel... makes it easier to balance, same way its easier to balance on one foot when you look ahead, rather than straight down at your foot

    Solid video, I always like to watch wheelie videos even if I’ve heard the same things over and over. And reading comments. You can always learn something new and try something different to become better. I started off on grass and quickly transitioned to pavement because it’s a bit harder to keep balance on grass. Anyway my two cents would be don’t stop trying keep going. Some days are going to be bleh but others better. Every bit counts. It all adds up!

    Nice job on the wheelies. Is there a reason you don't leave it on regen 4 so you don't need to be quick with the brake, and only need to modulate the throttle?
    I practiced wheelies for many years on pedal bicycles, dirt bikes, and street bikes. A friend of mine could pop up the front wheel of his Yamaha 650 street bike and go through the gears on the balance point. I could never do that. The only time I was able to ride a wheelie as long as I wanted was standing on the seat riding on a smooth athletic field in first gear. I think some people just lack the skill to ride on the balance point for long distances. Like myself. 😉

    • @freerfixedit
      @freerfixedit  Год назад +2

      It just makes it easier to coast and not have to constantly either be on the gas or throttle. I used to leave it on 4 but I think I like 1 better now.

    • @freerfixedit
      @freerfixedit  Год назад +2

      Speed helps stay straight, less psi in rear tire helps, I run 15 psi, and I kinda use my knees to correct the weight distribution if I start to lean, and the further back you are the easier it is to stay centered. And I’ve noticed the slightest amount of wind does really affect it as well
