    This was pretty cool, Im not a big chess player, but nice to learn concepts like this. Doesn't seem common to ring around the rosie around a pawn with a king.

    I'm really surprised he didn't know about the ROOOOOK. I've heard tons of other chess creators reference it. Botez, Crammling, Hikaru, Giri even did the voice during a post game interview last month!

    9:16 it's up on H file. You make the king move down because king protects the top and then you take the undefended rook with your king and it's king + rook vs king

    I appreciate you sharing this lesson with us, and not only because it's a useful bit of chess insight. The way Andrea grapples with ideas and zones out sometimes reminds me of me when I played chess seriously as a teenager back in the 1980s. (Except Andrea is about 500 points better than I ever was.)
