- Here's a review of the 2023 BMW i4 M50, filmed in Chicago, Illinois. Let me know in the comments what you think about this newer entry into the EV market! Would you take this over the Tesla Model 3 Performance, Kia EV6 GT, or the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT?

Excellent review
I'm not ready for full EV
But still very interesting thanks
For handling, you’d need to get the RWD edrive40. 50 is just way too heavy to be playful lol
Can you turn off the orange lights on the buttons in the bmw i4 m50?
Good review! 1. No tax credit since August last year 2. Base price has increased 2 times since last year so a relatively loaded one would cost close to $80k pre tax.
Thank you! Wow didn’t realize the credit was gone, appreciate the correction. That’s unfortunate about the price increase…at $80k I’m not sure I’d recommend it as strongly!
I just purchased a 24' M50 fully loaded (heated back seats and all tech). MSRP 77k and with rebates driving it off the lot for 66.5k.
Good video... The M50 comes stock with a rear spoiler (at least here in the UK) seems missing in the US 😔
Thanks for watching! Weird that it’s different in the US, a spoiler would definitely be cool!
I would love to see the x3 or x4 m40i review
I would love to drive those one day! :) Thanks for watching!
The sweet spot on this one is the 40 in my opinion; the M50 isn't worth the extra cost.
Me gusta bmw para betti
I really like this car, but there are 2 dealbreakers:
1. The climate control is only touch screen. Terrible choice BMW
2. The gauge cluster is a attached as a big screen along with the infotainment screen. I would've preferred a sunken in gauge cluster. The 90 degree angles aren't visually appealing either IMO.
I agree with both of those! Thanks for watching :)
Can't get the $7500 tax credit anymore.
Thank you for watching and for the correction!
You can if you get the car in the form of a lease
@@Jsebas289 Not the m50. It exceeds the max car price.
@ChuckTung i just leased a polestar 2 at 71k msrp and i was able to get the 7500. I was exploring the iX and that had the credit as well. I was under the impression that the credits had gone away as well.
@@ChuckTung incorrect, if you finance it yes the max is something like 50 k can be written off over the life of the car . But if you lease the whole lease can be written off at the end of the year. Because it’s not an asset, it’s an expense
I don't have problem without Climate control, Newer cars, You should always use Voice Control for heated seat and Temperture, it is quick and easy.
BMW really needs to look forward in terms of their interior designs. My 2012 5 series, and my previous 2004 3 series, are not too different from their 2023 designs. Also, BMWs are notorious for their electrical PROBLEMS, I can imagine the problems down the road with a fully electric vehicle. In the service department more than on the road is an understatement. Finally, I no longer understand who their target market is and their pricing strategy- $80,000 for a 4 series. I guess they are banking on the majority who can’t afford to purchase turning to leasing.
