I find that people obsess a bit much over security. They put the spotlights on an item and bolt it down and whatever. I steal everything else while they watch that one thing. Works out better
I can confirm that there has been at least one instance on official NASA comms of someone giving the instruction to "dock it or smash it in hard enough that there's only one spaceship anyway, your choice"
There was one that went like this: - Automatic docking failed, switching to manual... manual controls not responding, cycling.... no luck, we're locked out from manual. - (from ground, most likely accidentally broadcasted, whispering): SkyNet - it started.
I'm just incredibly excited to have it memorialized on video that I actually got Checkers to give me something I asked for at the Cargo request desk. I mean, the item I got didn't actually come from his department, it required an inordinate amount of flattery and it involved a side quest to the HoP and EVA but damnit if I didn't get those magboots and wear them with pride.

Damn, I've played SS13 like ten years ago. Now watching this feels like a silent game revolution happend and I never noticed. It's so much more... polished.
Yeah, this is SS14. It's SS13 on a different engine and coded from the ground-up to play as close to SS13 as possible with some added QoL improvements and other general changes (like the movement system not being grid-based).
Ss13 is also more polished now, but still to the limits of byond. 14 is awesome. Really hope people start developing harder for the things it can do that 13 cant

That said, it's without a doubt the best series in the genre I've ever read. Excellent military and intrigue driven fantasy
I would suggest that if you think you're the kind of person who'd fit well into the vibe of this station, the best path to potentially someday getting an answer to the question of where to find it would be to join the BPL Auxiliary. That's what I did.

also space sation 13 only tempry bans text from jobs bescue they want otehr new players to exprace that as well. bescue tex is sometimes just so good that the admins have to temp ban texuis form some jobs bescoe he is just too good and the admins want newer players to learn how to do it wihout copying texuis and black pant legon memes all the time.

In four more years, that's 20. 20 years a spaceman. Now, in my years I've seen a lot, and I mean a lot of different rulesets but. The whole "NO cargonia" ruleset that's become apparent on ss14 strikes me as a redditor badmin trying to enforce boredom. Yes-and means you go with it, including the consequences. If I start selling guns, I expect to be arrested.
