I am so happy to see content that explains the relationship between the Sandworms & The Spice as well as the adaptability of the Freman to thrive within this ecosystem. It was a pretty important ecological theme as well as a plot point that rarely gets talked about when discussing Dune.
To be able to read Dune 1-4 again for the first time would be amazing. An absolute masterclass in worldbuilding and real life influence. Frank Herbert's love for history, language, climatology and mythology made the books so unique.
Dune lore! Much appreciated. Waiting for you to planeswalk to the world of darkness. Tellurian. Mage traditions, vampire clans and changing breed tribes like some of werewolf / bastet or Corax!
Magic lore is something I am mostly familiar with, but I still learn something new on each of your videos. Dune however, is effectively an untapped well of lore for me. The dives your taking, from the history, future, political climate, and intrigue, are super interesting. Especially the spice process. I knew some of it, but definitely not everything you stated. Love the videos!
I appreciate it and glad you enjoy the videos! The Dune Universe has a lot going on and plenty of topics to explore, hope to cover more topics in the next months
The local Fremen actually refers to the storms as "The Wind which Eats Flesh" as I recall. Death by sandblaster, I know dying of thirst is supposed to be pretty horrible, but Having your flesh torn apart by flying dust, millimeter by millimeter has to be worse.
Yes, all the Fremen sayings/ customs/vernacular that appear in the novel really breathe life into the world. I like to think the various names for the sandworms are due to the subtle differences between Fremen tribes
I Arrakis was *the most important planet in thre known universe* , how come no one had explored the South!? They have space ships! A bit of plotholy situation here.
@JeanPhilippeLambert No, if you can't hear and listen to the story because of all the music... Also it is a very bad design, if music is playing onstantly. The tension and suspension happen if music is only present for dedicated passages and not constantly buzzing in the background. Listen once to good cinema movies and pay attention to that. Talking especially about the introduction of this content.

@@NinjaCat91 Frank Herbert wrote books 1-6. Chapterhouse was his last book. He died a year after it was published.

Well done! Concise and thorough, perfect for any Dune novice to get a quick overview 👍👍

Love how the Worm in the thumbnail looks like that blackhole picture.

Tune the music down, dude. It's BACKGROUND music.
It was appropriate dont you touch anything it was reflecting the epicness in the story told.

Haha for real. The sound mixing on this one was a little off. It's good music, but tuned up too high.
