Used this video and nailed it! Second round, I used Olive Oil instead of Veg Oil, and I added a little more sugar and salt and it came out a little flakier vs. grainy. Who knew.
I am so glad it worked out. I forgot to mention that I only use flour for bread machine (you can find it at Costco). The flour can make a huge difference in consistency as well. Hope you enjoyed it :)
I use Five Roses flour from Restaurant Depot but you can also use baking flour from Costco. The flour can make a huge difference in consistency and quality as well. Hope you enjoy it!
How long does it take for the machine to begin kneading the dough? Is it right away? Im wondering if i somehow messed this up since my machine is not starting right away. 😢
@@virginiaw8608 do you have the same bread machine? Also, you need to buy "bread flour" (whole purpose flour won't work well) and you need to have a good fast rising yeast. I tried a few diffrent bread machines by using the same ingredients and didn't rise well. so if you have this type of bread maker, you probably need to see what flour you use.I usually get my flour at sprouts because it's more organic (again...it has to be BREAD FLOUR). I make bread for over 10 years, I tried them all. let me know if I can help
That could be the exact reason why. I had the correct yeast but I wasn't using bread flour. I will give it another try tonight ☺️ thank you for letting me know.
It makes no difference if I add in the automatic yeast dispenser. After making about 2 breads a day for many years, it is easier for me to just add them all together.
I use the recipe twice and it turned out perfect. Thank you so much. The smell of fresh bread wafting through the house is so awesome
If you want to go an extra step in flavor, add 2 tablespoons of potato flakes or warm mash potatoes. It's so so worth it :)
I have the same bread maker. Just received (used) can you tell me what settings you are using? Thank you 🙏🏼
I used the recipe and it really turned out like in the video! great job
Do you have a recipe for a small loaf?
Great video! I will give it a try for sure because we eat a lot of bread too :)
you must really like bread

@@trulydeea7477 is that a bread flour or an All Purpose flour? I have an all purpose flour from Costco, will that work?
@@saucee41Hello, did you try the All Purpose flour? How did it go?
How long does it take for the machine to begin kneading the dough? Is it right away? Im wondering if i somehow messed this up since my machine is not starting right away. 😢
it takes about 30-45 minutes to start kneading, it won't start right away because first it warms up.
@@trulydeea7477 thank you so much for the info. My first and only loaf didn't turn out. Not sure what I did wrong.

why are you adding yeast when it has an automatic yeast dispenser?

Nice, question... the bread looks tall, will it fit in the toaster?
You can make the recipe for a medium bread and it will fit. The recipe that I have in the video it's for an XL bread as a size.
Plus, you can always cut it in half
@@trulydeea7477 Ha, true true. Why didn't I think of that. Thanks~
