You wouldn't when they start to dry rot. Even with Gummi Pflege Stift, all you are doing is buying some extra time, and the rubber they use now on toys is a bit worse than it was in the 80s.
I like how these Stunticons are turning out, much improved over the G1 versions (I have a couple). The G1 versions were very simple transformations though it's clear some that is retained in the Legacy versions. Namely, the front flipping down to became a backpack. Losing the Scramble City function is one thing I don't like. Maybe Dead End is supposed to shoot into the sky at the Aerialbots?
with the rear of the car you have to do the t-tab inside the legs. one that is done there are tabs on his heels that peg into the roof. once that is done that rear end will be right and not have a gap. if the heals are flush with the roof you are going to get that gap. great review =)

So stoked on this Menasor! I just miss the days when you didn't have to wait 1-2 years to complete a combiner. I understand creating demand and Pandemic fallout, but as someone who grew up in an era where parents were making the news for fighting over toys in the Transformers and Cabbage Patch Kids' aisles, I'm nostalgic for the concept of a stocked toy selection - or at least, the chance to get something in a timely fashion... and a chance at instant gratification I guess, lol. Anyway, Dead End looks awesome. Appreciate the review!
The legs in car mode hook together at the rear. You have to look closely at that tab and hook it right. Next, the feet push into the car more to rest underneath the upper leg part. If you get it all correct, it stays together. Well, not in menisor mode.

I found the problem with the rear end of his car mode -- the heel spikes aren't actually supposed to sit flush with the back window; instead they click in deeper, and then everything lines up with much less panel line gaps. There's some more little tabs that need to be 'well squozen' along the sides and so on, but once you get the heels down all the way it works much better. I have to say that I REALLY love how the front end of the car transforms -- it's really clever! Such a pity they handed the back end off to an intern to finish up 😛
I think this mold is going to be used for Streetwise because of the two slots on it's roof, possibly for a light bar. I don't know if this was pointed out already. Hopefully they fix the not peging in issues in vehicle mode.
I love the transformation, lots of engineering that you don't see a lot. My only issue is the back end, somehow I'm having such a hard to make everything click together

I had the same problem with the bumper not staying together. Try straightening the feet before transforming. This seemed to clear the issue on mine with the tabs not staying together.
Now that I’m thinking about it, Dead End’s arm transformation is kinda similar to combiner wars leader starscream’s arm transformation, I wonder if that’s where hasbro got the idea for dead end 🤔

Untill that back end wants to stay like that. Reminds me of the old crack ups that were toy cars that had a wrecked flipping part and recall a couple I had where that got stuck. 4 down 1 to go.
Just got my 2 in the mail today... Both had the tabbing issues as well... Once I decided which one I would use for Menasor, I carefully looked that one over. There seems to be some kind of clearance issues in the legs with some of the parts being just slightly too big around the edges... I did notice the parts for the inner legs and feet are molded plastic... So, I decided to very carefully sand down some of the plastic in places that are not very visible in Robot mode and hidden away in vehicle mode and that seemed to help things a little bit. I didn't do too much, so it still isn't perfect, but it is better. Maybe if I kept sanding those areas some more, the transformation would have gotten even better, but I didn't want to go too far... Just be careful that you don't sand down any of the tabs or where they tab in though. The tabs are not great to start with... ...Now that I have learned what parts to sand down, I'll have to modify the other one that I'll just keep as Dead End, while taking into account the Robot Mode appearance.
I wonder if someone could design a 3D printed piece that would attach over the spoiler and holds the back end together... AND provide and attachment point for the weapons to aim straight forward...
I don't know how Hasbro got that back end thought Q.C. but the robot mode does look good. looking for too putting a cobra badge sticker noting his Italian name.

Only line that did transparent right were the Alternator line. The insides were actual car bits and the windows were enforced with regular plastics.
Ordered this guy and Breakdown to complete my Stunticons. Can’t wait till he arrives. The Porsche 928 is one of my favorite sports cars of all time.

Dead End is great. Awesome alt mode. The feet are fine as long as you don't pose him in weird wide stances like the promo pics of him.

I wish the legs were flipped upside down so the feet are where the knees are. That would lower his center of gravity and make his knees less wonky
