Yes she was great with natural hair. But in the beginning of thw video the stylist mentioned she is going to high school. Now putting that in mind, the wig is the easiest way to manage daily. I have natural hair and work 5 days a week, am telling you it takes patience, grace, tons of money (yes ) and someone who knows what they are doing to mange it.

Why not just do a silk press. She has a lot of her own hair, why a laborious wig that has high maintenance. A silk press would have sufficed.

I wore wigs in high school, this brought back those memories. My hair was damaged and some times I just didn't want to deal with it. The wigs gave my hair a rest. I totally understand where she and her mom are coming from. I wished that we had these kinds of options back in my day. I remember one day my wig flew off my head! But I caught it in time or else I wasn't going to go back to school. Period 😆

It is an age appropriate ponytail. I know I didn’t think about a lace front nothing in high school. The most we did was spray some track with pump it up, curl it with hard rulers and put it in the microwave. We wrapped those tracks around our heads and went out the door!

The amount of time, time you could have Done her Own Beautiful Hair. Does her Mother Realize, time is money. I’m quite sure this Cost well over $100.00. We went to school, my hair is Long I hated getting my hair heat straighten, but that’s how it was. Mothers should learn how to be created with what we are given.

The hair stylist did a excellent job and she created a hair style that is age appropriate for the young girl. There are very few people in the world that go beyond there call of duty and this hair stylist did that. She followed in cue what the mom asked and came up with a enchanting style.

I just don't understand why these young girls want these wigs. I can see some braids even maybe a sew in. But constantly wearing wigs going to cause those edges to break and not wanting to just wear your natural hair sometimes don't make sense to me...smdh
@@ms.virgo8279 wigs do not make your edges fall out. If you have a wig that's anchored down with glue or adhesive and you don't remove it properly that can make it edges fall out. But since the adhesive or even gel for that matter is attached to the skin and not the hair it doesn't make your hair fall out. In fact wigs protect your hair so you can grow your hair out while you wear them.

@@peepla7 Wearing any protective style too much isn't good for your hair. That includes braids, weaves, etc. What's wrong with just wearing your own natural hair sometimes is all I said. And most of the time these young girls not putting or taking the wigs or weave on or off right so eventually many will lose their edges and/or hair lose. But again...read what I said I'm not against wigs but give your hair a rest.
@@ms.virgo8279 I'm natural... always wear my natural hair...and I make wigs. I have all my edges. What I am saying is wigs do not cause people to lose her edges neither do braids, is how they do it that causes the issues if the braid is too tight ...if the weave is too tight or if the the wig is actually glue down over the edges instead of just the skin. personally when I use a wig I use a water soluble lace gel over my actual skin not my hair. Basically we're saying the same thing.

I was a hairstylist in my first life. While this stylist did a beautiful job, the mantra "time is money" comes to mind immediately. From start to finish, working on this client had to take a long time. Considering the lengthy time and the cost of the wig, I would be curious as to how much this visit cost. I don't understand the mother feeling wearing her hair natural would cause the little girl's hair to fall out. And since the wig is glued around her face, I would assume it is not taken off at night so how does the child keep it looking nice? Anyway, this stylist knows her stuff. Great job.
