here's a suggestion. to make the make-up go a long way, i take a little art spatula (or cut a popsicle stick in half) and take a little but of the makeup out and put it on a cd, then did the brush in castor oil and smear the make-up with the castor oil. it works WONDERS!!!!! im a special f/x makeup artist so its a highly recommended tip! GREAT WORK!!!!
@whatsnot2adore21 I helped a friend of mine with a zombie costume a few years ago and he had the same problem with the makeup. There is a clear powder that you can get that works great. We bought it at a local costume shop. There are lots of brands but it is a clear set powder. For dark skin I suggest doing an ashy look with grays then powdering. It looks white going on but is clear when dusted off. Even normal baby powder is nearly clear after dusting off the extra. Try it and see if it works
i live in the UK and we dont get Ben Nye here (though his range does look cool) what other product ranges would you consider to be good for doing this kinda zombie look? btw liking the zombie very much, not often you come across a guy thats spanking hot and can do makeup without being Gok. sorry to say. :) thnx for the tutorial it was much needed at very short notice and helped me tons!!!! I looked up the word zombies and I discovered a boy who likes turtles. thumbs up if she looks a little like the boy. There are shirts at Hottopic with the turtle loving guy. I have the shirt. O h yeah and good job on the makeup so far. O_O
@dwennifer yeah - during the process of decomposition... the micro-organisms associated with it tend to break down and digest fat cells first as they are less complex other complex protein structures like muscle
mmmm i just use my own urban decay matte eyeshadow pallettes and that crappy white face powder from hot topic, soak a sponge in blood and bite into it. i go for the more sexy zombie, less icky...
great job man .... i usally hate it when ppl go with the sunken feature bullshit cause most ppl never do it good cause they over do it but yours came out great

all you do is spray rubbing alcohol on the foundation and it kills the bacterica without effecting the foundation
