thanx for the awesome comment! I'm not sure of what the character looks like that you're referring to. So, I need to do a bit of research on that and I promise I will get back to you with my suggestions!
thanks for the comp! I have listed the exact products in a reply previously, all of them can be purchased at most major department stores. Or online, you can get anything online!
I'd love to take requests for Makeup Application Videos! From the simplest (how to apply fake lashes) to the complex. Let me know what you want to learn and we'll make it happen!

@MrfrankieD I fully understand where you're coming from. When I made this tutorial I wanted to gear it towards the non-pro MUA so I kept special effects makeup/prosthetics out of the mix. I was just so tired of going out for Halloween and seeing TERRIBLE amateur zombie makeup, so I hopefully helped some people out by showing them how simple it can be to do a decent zombie! =)
@HareDeLune Thanks & you're welcome! I use a solvent type brush cleanser from Cinema Secrets. But you can also MAC brush cleanser, it takes a bit more work but it's alot less expensive and more readily available. Another option is shampoo, just use very little!
Thanks a bunch for the info. I watched this last night and made up my daughter and her friend this afternoon for a "First Annual Zombie Walk" in support of a local charity. Over 300 zombies took part and my daughter and her friend won 1st and 2nd place as "best zombies". Thanks again!
The sticks I'm using in the beginning are MAC Foundation Sticks, however I just checked their site & I think that they are now discontinued! BOO! I loved them! In place of those you can use any pale foundation to lighten up your skin.
@TheSmozification I am a professional makeup artist so all the supplies I just have. Most of which are from MAC Cosmetics, but you don't have to use an expensive brand. What's important are the colors used. So just find similar colors at the drugstore!
Yes, I can understand how that looks a bit off. Basically there were technical difficulties that prohibited me from giving some zombie love to the ears and the neck. :( I do however know that those areas shouldn't be neglected in order to complete the look.
thanks for the comment. In regards to me using expensive products, I worked for MAC for five years. So, with that in mind most of it was FREE, or dirt cheap due to my 60% discount, which I do miss!
@makeupbyleah thanks for this vid, cos i was trying to find a quick last minute look i can do on friend without having to go out and buy products i dont already have.
Hi I was wondering what are those sticks your using in the beginning of the video? If you can answer as soon as you can please I need to buy it for tomorrow =)
Leah, Thanks for the great video! I've been using sponges, but your great brush work is inspiring. Question: What is the best way to clean the brushes afterward?
This is beautiful. I especially like the dark purple and pink around the eyes as opposed to the straight up dark grey or black that people often use when applying zombie makeup.
I saw this video in '07 and have been doing makeup since. Your video was so helpful and really kind of kick started me on my journey through the make up world. '
@eLa160392 That's a good question....You can def try using your fingers and Q-tips but I honestly don't think it will turn out as good as if you were to get some cheap brushes from Target.
@makeupbyleah oké I'm from belgium a small country but the video is not bad eh the basic make-up is very good sorry my English is not so good sometimes ;-) grtz

Excellent! I'm gonna do this and won't have to worry about latex prosthetics peeling off before the end of the night!
That's so professional. Thanks, now I know what i'll be for Halloween.

That is fantastic! I can't wait to use some of these tips! Thanks for a great video!

Are u just using regular make up or that grease/paint make up u get at party city?
@23nikerocks I used "regular" makeup, NOT the horrible cheap grease makeup from the Halloween aisle at Walgreen's.
Where can I find a make up kit similar to the make up used?
